If I don’t write this to you I may well EXPLODE. Today I was working in Madam Primpernelle’s, and it was ultimately lame, no two ways about it. But just when I thought I couldn’t go through another hour and I’d better start looking in the paper for yet another job, who should walk past but Ginny Weasley-Potter.

I couldn’t care less about the pretty pastel witches who came in the shop but I care when one of the greatest witches in quidditch walks past. Totally wasn’t going to pass up that opportunity. Bingo, lunchtime.

So I totally caught up with her in the Alley, and despite putting both feet and a fist in my mouth - literally - in my excitement, managed to introduce myself, hold conversation and - you’ll never guess what -

SHE OFFERED ME A JOB.

Like, she remembered Aunt Andie who was in her dorm at school, and said she could try get approval for an assistant. I nearly died on the cobblestones, honest Gabs, you would have nearly seen me faint if you’d been there. I was so stoked. I could barely make it through the afternoon without exploding and then had to run around and get references and dig out some copies of my articles from the school paper and stuff to send.

I’m just hoping to Merlin that this is for real and she wasn’t just being like SUPER WEIRDLY NICE. But even if she is, I still MET GINNY WEASLEY-POTTER.

Totally exhausted now. How is curse-breaker training going? How’s your folks? Are you nervous about exam results this week? Mum’s probably going to kill me either way, even if I got straight Os. Which I won’t, we both know. Wouldn’t put it past you though, brainbox.

Come visit soon, like. I live with two blokes and however gay they both are they’re still BOYS and I miss you.
