City & Country of Birth: Oxford, UK
    Pureblood, Halfblood or Muggleborn: Pureblood
House & Year: Slytherin 4th year (5th in the fall)

Wand: Evie’s wand is 11 3/4 long made of Rowan wood with a Dragon Heartstring core. The wood is bendy with a decorated shaft.

Physical Description: One could call Evie “sweet and innocent”, but then they would be quite mistaken.  Upon first looks, the petite girl does have a nice look to her.  Her light skin and incredible blue eyes make the young girl appear friendly. When she smiles, she can look like the most accepting person in the world. But upon further review, the teenager has a darker look, despite her happy moments.

Her light blue eyes are without a doubt Evie’s favorite thing about her appearance.  Those same eyes learned to master the “puppy dog look” in order to get her way from her parents.  She has learned many ways to use those eyes to manipulate others.  Her eyes combined with her sweet smile have helped her make many new acquaintances, mainly for the sake of her own benefit.  While she can portray many emotions through her eyes, both they and her mouth tend to have a more uninterested look to them.  when she goes into her unemotional moods, she looks even more like her cousin Vienna.  Many people do find their resemblance quite pronounced, though Evie likes to think she looks more unique.

With nothing else too extraordinary about her face, Evie is still quite content with how she looks. Actually, she is more than content and has the tendency to be quite narcissistic.  She finds her nose the perfect shape to go with her face, not too big, and not too small.  Her chin sits at the bottom of her upside-down egg-shaped face, which she finds to be the perfect shape.  Though she isn’t too fond of freckles, she does have some on her face.  She tries to keep out of the sun in order to prevent any further addition to the ones already present.

As per Evie’s hair, is goes down to around her shoulders and she enjoys the chocolate color of it.  At times it will be more like dark chocolate, and others it will be like milk chocolate.  She likes to think that it changes depending on the mood that she is in.  Of course, she isn’t a metamorphmagus, but she enjoys the fact that her hair does change color in a way.  But it changes more depending on what she wears. When she goes outside on a sunny day, a bit of a reddish tint is infused into the brown of her hair.  It isn’t too much, but enough to bring out more of the blue in her eyes.

Evie has a naturally fast metabolism and can eat all she wants without gaining a pound.  But of course, she doesn’t eat all she wants as she does like to stay thin.  Standing at 5’5”, she is around average height.  With her body weight proportional to her height, some still might venture to call her “too thin”.  Evie does not pay attention to such allegations.

If someone were to look in Evie’s wardrobe, they would most likely not be surprised to find only the best.  Quite possibly a Pascal family trait, Evie has a very mature fashion sense.  Detesting frills and bright colors, she stays towards darker earth tones and often high waisted dresses. Unlike her cousin, Evie does wear jeans, though they must be dark washed and accompanied with the most elegant of tops.  Taught well by her older cousin and mother, Evelyn Pascal is determined to never have a fashion disaster.

Personality Description: Nearly being sorted into Ravenclaw, Evie is quite clever.  With a quick wit and inventive mind, she does hold many traits of a Ravenclaw.  On the other side of the spectrum, she has a tendency to be more stubborn, sarcastic, and rebellious.  She won’t allow others to dictate what she does, unless she can play it off as her idea first.  She can be a very independent person, but also loves being surrounded by others.

Her love of being around others causes her to wear many different masks.  She can be kind and caring, but also mean and deceptive.  There are only a few people she truly cares about, herself being at the top on that list.  Anyone related to her will also be on that list.  Her fellow cousins at Hogwarts both see different sides of Evie.  When around Vienna and other Slytherins, Evie can be rude and sarcastic towards others.  With Sebastian, she is more outgoing and tends to smile more.

Evie used to be a fun-loving girl who smiled all the time.  Because of her parents divorcing when she was 8 years old, her personality took a major change.  She found it difficult to be as happy while she saw her parents suffering.  She could not quite comprehending what was happening and tried to act as though it wasn’t affecting her.  But little by little, those around her could tell that she had been affected.  The smiley, happy-go-lucky girl was becoming more reserved and distant.

Evie’s attitude was also changing, as she became less friendly and more devious.  She started teasing the younger children around the area around her father’s house.  Though when she was with her mother, she wasn’t as bad.  She had always been close to her mother, and looked up to her.  Evie tried to be strong for her mother’s sake, and because she admired her mother for being so strong during the divorce.

Once she was was accepted into Hogwarts, Evie was sorted into Slytherin.  For a moment, the Sorting Hat contemplated putting her in Ravenclaw.  Then, it saw deeper and how she was more likely to fit in with the crowd of her older cousin and decided she would be better in Slytherin.  From then on, she learned the importance of making friends.  There are some people she can pretend to get along with for the sake of having people she can go to for different problems.  Evie believes that everyone can be useful for something or another. Because of this, she tries to make as many friends as possible to find out how they’d be best used for her.

When Evie is around her Slytherin friends, she will be most herself and can be rude to people she was previously nice towards.  Then if she is just with other houses, she’ll be more like the girl she was before her parent’s divorce.  At times her friendliness towards others is just a front.  She does try to be genuinely nice to others, but the more she stays around Slytherin’s, the worse she gets.

Evie also has a tendency to think she is a bit better than everyone else.  With her narcissistic behavior, she believes people should think themselves lucky that she wants to be with them.  Evie isn’t so self-loving that she will talk about her looks to others.  Despite that, she won’t go out of her dorm unless she knows she looks perfect.  But of course, perfect to her might not be perfect to everyone else.  Everyone has their own tastes.

Despite her need for friends, Evie does have times when she needs to be alone.  When she’s in these moods, people know it right away.  Evie will become her coldest and most distant when things are bothering her.  Most people know to stay clear of her when she is in this frame of mind.  The people closest to her know that October 15th is the date when she is worst, as that is the anniversary of her parent’s divorce becoming official.  She’ll mostly keep to herself then, and stay clear of large groups of people.

Deep down, there is still a chance that she would revert back to her happy, nice self.  Evie just needs someone to restore her faith in being good.  Part of her wishes things could go back to the way they were. She could be nice, but her parent’s divorce has caused her to lose faith that being nice would do any good.

History: Evelyn Grace Pascal was born February 2nd, 1993 to the wealthy family of Lucas Pascal and Sophia Ash. Lucas worked in the business of creating medial supplies for St. Mungo’s.  Sophia was one of the top editors at Witch Weekly magazine.  The two had met when Sophia was writing a story on Lucas being one of the top rich eligible bachelors.

Happily married at the time, Lucas and Sophia fell in love with their bundle of joy.  They spoiled her with many gifts, as she was their first and only child.  With her bright blue eyes, which were inherited from her mother, she captivated many of her relatives and parent’s friends.  “Such a beautiful baby,” everyone would always say.  This later became why Evie felt that she could manipulate people with her looks.

Growing up in the house of Lucas Pascal was interesting.  Though she supposed that anyone growing up in a wizarding family would have an interesting childhood.  Evie enjoyed wizarding sweets, toys and such.  She also enjoyed the fact that she didn’t have to share them.  Unlike many only children, Evie never wished to have any other siblings.  Seeing her elder cousins Vienna and Sebastian fighting over toys in their youth, Evie did not want to have to deal with that.  She did, however, enjoy visiting with her cousins when they were at family gatherings.

At the age of thee, in 1996, Evie had to watch as her favorite cousins and their parents had to go in hiding.  As Lucas and Sophia had never let their views on blood purity see public light, they were able to stay in their home.  Unfortunately, it also meant that they would have to be very careful.  Lucas and Sophia did not agree with the blood purist ideals, but found it safest to act as though they did for the sake of their daughter.  They wanted to keep their family life the same, despite the difficult conditions.

The war kept raging on and young Evie remained clueless of the situation.  She was kept happy by her parents, who decided it best to not let her get alarmed.  She was unsure as to why her cousins and some of her aunts and uncles had disappeared. Some of her parent’s friends who also had children had gone in hiding as well.  Evie missed her play sessions with her family and other friends.

As the war ended, the family of Lucas Pascal had made it through without their daughter knowing too much.  It was now 1998 and five-year-old Evie was happy to see her relatives return.  Unfortunately she had lost three of her relatives.  Her Aunt Cynthia, sister to her father, had been killed in a crossfire.  Her Uncle Desmond, muggleborn, had been murdered by some of Voldemort’s followers.  Then her Uncle Bergen, whom she’d never met, had been imprisoned in Azkaban and left to die there.  Missing the first two, Evie was most happy for the return of the family of Marcus and Adelaide Pascal.

She was now able to visit with her older cousins, Vienna and Sebastian again.  Evelyn found herself looking up to them more and more.  When she turned eight in 2001, she found them as her refuge while her parents marriage fell to pieces with their constant arguing over this and that.  It was in the fall, on October 15th when the divorce became official.  The papers were signed and Sophia had moved out.

Here is where Evie herself lost touch with her happiness.  She had always looked up to her mother, and seeing her in such a state of sadness hurt Evie.  She grew angry at her father, but still put up with the visits to his house every so often.  As she started living with her mother more, she lost touch with her father’s side of the family.  Evie was sad that she didn’t get to see her cousins as much, and started drifting away from everyone but her mother.

However, Evie and her mother found solace in shopping. As Sophia Ash herself was still well off in her own financial standing, the girls were still able to live with the finer things in life.  Sophia had one of the best senses of fashion, and was happy to pass that on to her daughter.  She provided Evie with the best of clothes, and with the knowledge of when to use them.  She would never let her daughter experience any fashion disasters, and Evie vowed to never have one.  If nothing else in her life made sense any more, fashion was the one thing that was always there. Despite the ever-changing nature of it, she loved being able to stay up-to-date in the world of fashion.

Evie, and her parents as well, were thrilled when she was accepted to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.  On her eleventh birthday, she received her letter.  And for the first time in a while, her parents were together without fighting.  Sorted into Slytherin, her parents were happy with it.  Lucas had been a Ravenclaw, and Sophia had been a Slytherin when they had attended Hogwarts, and both found Slytherin’s to be agreeable.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: The Sorting Hat had seen Evie’s ability to learn and how eager she was to start, but also saw her deceptive nature.  Because of this, it found that she would learn to grow better in Slytherin and placed her there.  She, herself had been hoping for Slytherin as that is where her older cousin Vienna is.  Also, being stubborn, sarcastic, and armed with a sense of fashion, she feels she fits in best with the Slytherins.

    Writing Sample:
Evelyn Pascal walked through the halls of Hogwarts.  It was October 15th, 2007 and all she wanted to do was hide in her room.  Unfortunately, there were other people in there.  Seeking refuge, Evie searched for an empty classroom or corridor where she could just be alone with her thoughts. She hated this day and was always reminded of that final argument as she left with her mother.

Out of my way, you midget!” Evie angrily ordered in the direction of some poor first year. And then another person decided to walk slowly in front of her. “Are you a sloth or a human being? Move faster or don’t walk in front of me!

The crowded hallways were not giving Evie the space she needed and she was starting to get irritated.  On top of it being the anniversary of her parent’s divorce, it was also a monday.  Students were on their way out of classes, or on their way to one.  Evie was done for the day and just wanted to get away.  She worked her way towards the Entrance Hall when she couldn’t find anything empty.

Evie made her way out of the huge doors and down towards the forest. Doing so, she looked like someone you wouldn’t want to mess with.  Despite being a petite girl, she could pack some emotion in her eyes.  And right now her eyes said something along the lines of “Talk to me and die.

Searching for a clear area, Evie found refuge under a tree near the Forbidden Forest.  She sat down and leaned back against the trunk of the tree, facing the forest.  “Alone at last... Now to just ignore everything and let this day pass as fast as it can.” She thought to herself.  She stared out into the dark depths of the forest and allowed herself to banish any other thoughts from her head.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Evelyn is devious, deceptive, and manipulative when she wants to be.  She can be your best friend, but only because she knows you’ll be useful to her in some way in the future.  Her cheerful, joyful self disappeared when her parents divorced, but is probably in there somewhere, if you can pull it out.  She is believes herself to be one of the most beautiful, fashionable people in Hogwarts, thanks to her mother passing that trait down to her.  Unfortunately, she is also one of the most narcissistic people in Hogwarts.

    Astrology

(parts I found interesting and used in creating Evie's Bio)

    Aquarius Astrology January 20 - February 18

    Aquarius Strength Keywords:

    - Witty
    - Clever
    - Humanitarian
    - Inventive
    - Original

    Aquarius Weakness Keywords:
    - Stubborn
    - Unemotional
    - Sarcastic
    - Rebellious
    - Aloof

    Aquarius and Independence:
Aquarius personality is very independent, any attempt to hold them down or restrict them will cause them, to flee. They need to be free to be on their own. Independence is not just desired by Aquarius, it is essential to their well being.

    Aquarius and Temperament:
Aquarius tend to be rebels just for the sake of having their own way. Their stubbornness sometimes causes their failure, they will continue to do something their way even though others have proved it is wrong, they are very smart people and know it is wrong but they will continue just because it is their way, they are very fixed in opinion and stubborn when confronted. Despite their stubbornness and fixed opinion, they will never impose their ideas on others, they have respect for everybody's differences.

    Aquarius Deep Inside:
Aquarius are in search of wisdom, they are very observant and they can gather their information objectively because emotions do not get in the way, they seem to be above emotions altogether and when they speak, they speak the truth. Sometimes it may be shocking or painful because of their disregard for the feelings of others, but they intend no harm, they call it like they see it and do not emotions cloud their judgment, they are very detached from emotion. It is not that Aquarius are unemotional, they just to not trust their emotions so they incorporate them into their ideas of who they are. As a result, if someone does not agree with their ideas, Aquarius sometimes takes it personally, not as much as other zodiac signs however as Aquarius is intellect driven and not emotionally driven. Sometimes they wonder if there is something in life that they are missing because they do not feel like other people feel. This does not necessarily prevent them from being involved in intimate relationships, they are capable of this but the person on the other end will always notice an air of detachment from Aquarius. Aquarius wonders 'why?' so much that they can question their existence. They wonder if what they are doing is useful, they want other people to notice them and appreciate them, this is caused by underlying insecurities that wonder if other people accept them for who they are but these are never brought to the surface because to an Aquarius, it does not matter that much because they know that they are special.

    Aquarius in a Nutshell:
Aquarius is the sign of visionaries, unconventionality and intellectual independence. Aquarius are the people who deviate from the crowd and go their own way. They are always after intellectual stimulation, constantly discovering something new, forming new opinions and stubbornly traveling their way regardless of what other people think. Aquarius are filled with paradoxes, they are interested in the opposite ends of the spectrum, they like to be alone yet are social butterflies, they like to experience both sides and see both opinions as they formulate new ideas with their forward thinking, active mind. Aquarius have a 'live and let live' policy where everyone is free to be themselves, an Aquarius never judges others because as human beings, we are all equal and entitled to our own opinions. They are verbally skilled and very witty, they observe people and learn how to interact with others through observation. They can be masters of manipulation justifying anything they do or think. As a result, they can deal with any type of personality and adapt to any situation. They welcome change because boredom is their enemy. Anything new is an opportunity to Aquarius. Aquarius can act as an expert on any topic, they are very good at inflating their own importance, they feel it is deserved because their eccentricity makes them unique. Conventional people beware, Aquarius likes to shock and deviate from the norm, this is how they live. Aquarius is known to pick at anyone they find weak or dull-minded. It is simply an easy target for verbal exercise for them, no harm is meant but it might be taken from the other person. Deep inside, Aquarius would never intentionally hurt anyone, they have respect for every human, even thought this might not seem apparent to the more emotional types.
