Josephine St. Just is written by the wonderful Jessica! An incredibly skilled cursebreaker, Josephine is not always in allegiance with her employer - Gringotts. The former Ravenclaw loves travel and adventure, and is inexplicably drawn to
danger. Just watch her eyes glimmer at a good opportunity! Cynical, sarcastic, opportunistic, Josephine is not one to make close relationships. Who knows what mystery is lying beneath that polished layer of sophistication?
Josephine has been actively involved in

Egyptian Dagger which have benefitted from her ability to source and track down artefacts around the globe.

AO's legendary seventh years are graduating in June! This doesn't make their schedules any less hectic though!
The winners of the
Seventh Year Bucket List Challenge have yet to be tallied - and there's still time to sneak in a few more tricks! But don't forget to spare a bit of energy for our
Hogwarts Exams 2011... time to focus on those O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s! Students from third to seventh years will be able to unwind afterwards at the
End of Term Feast. There's also the chance for an American adventure not long after, thanks to the
Hogwarts Summer Trip!
As both June and July are in full swing, this would also be a great time to think about the
Ministry of Magic Mixer and socialise with some new colleagues. MoM employees are also welcome to join in the discussion. Come and stare at the fresh meat! Love 'em or hate 'em, they're here to stay!

They have made AO a better place to write! Unfortunately, due to real life commitments, Kelly is unable to continue in this position and has chosen to step down. Avatar Registry: New Guideline
Effective with this Fortnight Flier, Absit Omen's
Avatar Registry will be introducing an addition to its rules and regulations. This has been the result of thorough discussion between the Curators, keeping in mind the well-being of this site as well as its many wonderful members!
- Play-Bys must be of a racial identity that is consistent with that of their character.
Changes to existing miscast Play-Bys are left to the discretion of their writers, who may wish to replace their Play-By or
feasibly revamp a character to better suit the racial identity of the Play-By.
On Absit Omen, we like to believe that everyone is collectively responsible for the narratives portrayed here. This is why it is important for us to hold ourselves to a more progressive and equitable standard. Please feel free to reach us through the

Class Thread Calendar & Other Hogwarts Resources
NB: Exam results received on 15th July by owl. New Hogwarts timetable, school calendar, etc. to come as we approach September timeline, along with year group transition of character titles etc. Career changes for leaving students are welcomed. If one is not received by the time the year group transition is made, a character will receive 'witch' or 'wizard' status.
