Only a week had passed since Zia’s graduation from Hogwarts, but already she missed the place. What was she supposed to do now? Just - go out into the world? Get a job? That seemed hopelessly boring. She vaguely remembered her claim that she was going to throw a party. That seemed the opposite of boring.
 
Now that she had a mission, Zia shopped for something cute to wear (including the tiniest bikini she could find) and threw a party on a Tuesday just because she could. It was a little bit to spite the concept of adulthood. They were free to do whatever they wanted now. So they would definitely need some beer.
 
Zia constantly found herself forgetting that she was allowed to use magic, and then using it to excess. She whipped up a string of cakes and cookies, decorating them to represent each of the four houses, all while getting a pedicure and pouring herself glasses of wine. This was the life. 
 
One or two of her siblings were milling about the house somewhere, but for the most part the billion-bedroom estate was empty. Zia debated drawing up a map so her friends could take advantage of all of the amenities, but she decided it would be more fun for them to discover things on their own and also she a little bit forgot.
 
Before her guests arrived she decorated the house and built three fountains: one for cheese, one for chocolate, and one for champagne. As each began to flow, Zia adjusted her top and flipped her hair, admiring with pride all of the party magic she had just done. For her final trick, she cast an old favorite: she uncorked a bottle of chardonnay and poured herself a glass.
