The recent murder of two muggles by unknown vampire(s) has stirred long-seething hatred against wizarding society's fanged population. Tensions have not been helped by the Ministry's lacking blood bank (a result of February's kidnapping debacle) and the anti-vampire vandalisation of Madam Malkins in Diagon Alley. Where does your character stand in all this? Love the bloodsuckers or hate them?

Nominees for Minister have received seven nominations each from the Wizengamot. The Wizengamot then set in motion the waters of acclamation to find the next Minister. These large glass vessels filled with clear potion ebb and flow according to public opinion and suitability.

Originally three candidates, Miranda Storm took herself out of the running, leaving just two candidates: Ignatius Prewett III and Edwin Glass.
