[March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) on July 16, 2016, 01:14:21 AM Chloe quietly snuck into the abandoned classroom, making sure that the coast was clear before pulling her friends in the room and locking it behind them. "Don't worry, I've done this before." She said, going to the closet to find some of the supplies that was constantly kept in there. This was the room of the stoners. They were lucky it wasn't currently occupied. This room was twice as magical as the room of requirement. Well, maybe not that magical. But the students themselves were who made it as great as it was. She Rouen folded blankets, and tiny pillows. Everything was miniaturized, so it was easy to hide if someone came around putting their nose where it didn't belong. The chairs were still set up in the perfect fort position. She started pulling out objects and resizing them, placing them around and inside the ring of chairs, before throwing a blanket over the entire thing. They now had a perfect stoner fort. With pillows and blankets, soft enough to sleep, safe enough to not be found. She double checked the door, and then climbed in the fort. "Come on in, guys. It's really cozy in here." Her friends climbed in, and she pulled out the book again, retrieving her stash. "I got this stuff from a Hufflepuff. It should be really good," she said, pulling out the joint, and placing it between her lips. "Let me explain how this works. You put it in between your lips, and you're going to breathe in. You're gonna wanna cough the first time, that's fine, but to get a good high you need to really inhale, like this." She lit the joint, sucking in air, and leaning her head back. She handed the joint to Katherine, and then blew out slowly. "You will get high, but I won't let you get too crazy. It is your first time." She leaned back on the pillows. This was so much better than muggle weed. That stuff took forever to work. "I always get wicked creative on this stuff. I used to use it when I hit an artist slump. I get beautiful work out of it." The joint was passed around, and she took another hit, before handing it off again. "Hufflepuffs, man. All that herbology and studying, it really works out for the best. And, they're so nice, they give the best prices. Hands down, they're my favorite to buy from."She slowly felt it begin to take hold, and she leaned back again, staring at the blanket above them. "There's so much out there, guys. The world is so big. And it's all ours to explore. How awesome is that?" She sighed. "I can't wait until the summer. My first summer of total freedom. No mom or dad to ruin my fun, no responsibilities, a warm bed to go back to each night," she smiled. "sounds pretty great to me." He sighed. Chloe had done this before, why was he not surprised? Mason crossed his arms and shivered in the empty classroom. It was dark and smelled like several droughts had gone terribly wrong. He coughed and pulled his sweater tighter around him. He was feeling as excited about breaking the rules as he'd been in the common room. And Chloe stacking tiny furniture like someone with a few screws loose did nothing to calm his nerves. He felt the urge to look over his shoulder every few seconds. The light at the tip of his wand was as far as he could see.Mason was a little impressed at the ingenuity of his fellow students, but he'd never let Chloe know that. This was the biggest risk he'd taken since putting his name in the Goblet of Fire. "She's not gonna let us off the hook if we chicken out now." He grumbled to Katherine as he got on his hands and knees to crawl into the fort. Cozy was the correct word for the inside of the blanket nest Chloe had assembled. He leaned his back against a chair, opened up his notebook, and started to write his last will and testament. He could never be too careful. He looked up and realized that their were fairy lights strung around the chair legs and around the circumference of the blanket tent. This wasn't so bad, Mason concluded to himself and closed his notebook as Chloe lit the gillyweed blunt. By the way she leaned back, mason could surmise that Chloe had done this more than a couple of times. He wondered if this was Shade's influence or not, but Chloe would set him on fire if he said anything bad about her one and only true love, Mr. O'Connor. Mason decided he was glad he was doing this now. He didn't have anything to hide anymore. Everyone knew how he felt. He didn't fawn over Chloe like an infatuated puppy anymore, he was more mature than that now. He understood their relationship was to stay purely platonic.Katherine knew he loved her, and he'd stay out of the way and not make it harder for her to say goodbye, they'd agreed on the boundaries, and were to stay friends as well. Mason was content with his choices, and no amount of gillyweed could make him forget that. Mason was handed the joint in the usual puff-puff-pass fashion and wondered if he should hold it with his index finger and thumb, or trap the paper between his index and middle finger. He hadn't been paying that much attention to Chloe's hands when she set it alight. Mason pinched it between his middle fingers and took a drag. He coughed and his eyes watered. Smoke blew out of his nostrils. It wasn't unpleasant, just, unexpected. He'd need some practice. He puffed out another tendril of smoke and and handed it back to Chloe. He didn't feel anything yet, just the stinging at the back of his throat and the tears in his eyes.It seemed to be working for Chloe just fine. Maybe she was just more sensitive to the stuff. It would make sense biologically, and she was just shorter than him. He didn't understand half of what Chloe was saying, "Chlo, I don't think this stuff works." Mason said as it came back around to him again. He didn't cough this time, and sat in silence for a few seconds waiting for something, anything to happen.Nothing.Oh.Wait.Yup, there it goes.Mason blinked a couple times and burst into a fit of giggles. The fairy lights above his head were shifting and seemed to flow around each other. "Merlin's beard." Mason chuckled and stared straight up at lights. he had nothing to confess, he just wanted to look at the lights. Had something died in this room? Or was the stench the custom of abandoned-classrooms-turned-into... What exactly was it turned into? What did one call a room for smoking and general mischief? She kicked a few pieces of parchment out of her way. Had she been in the Ravenclaw common room she would have assumed they were important study notes. But no, upon a closer look she discovered a bit of chicken scratch detailing how to mix magical herbs to get the best kind of highs. Cerebral highs, body highs, ones to make you artistic, ones to make you sleep. How did stoners have the brain cells left to figure all this out?Katherine ducked into Chloe's makeshift fort. She found herself a seat on a dusty pink pillow, tucking her feet beneath her as she pulled on the ends of her sleeves to cover her hands. Not to ward off any cold, but to comfort herself as she clearly ventured out of her element. When it came her turn to smoke, she grasped the joint gingerly between two fingers. She was delicate with it, bringing it to her lips slowly before taking in a breath. And it burned, and it hurt. Was it supposed to make her suffer? Wasn't it supposed to make her feel good? Help her unwind? She'd had people mention using gillyweed to get rid of migraines and she'd always wondered if it would work for her... but now she knew that smoking only brought pain and suffering and oh...She looked at the ground, she wasn't floating. But her body felt lighter, like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. Mason took the joint from her and as she did, she looked at him. The way he methodically thought through how he was going to approach the joint. The curiosity growing within him seemed to reach out of his body and draw her in. Wasn't she supposed to have rules? The band on her finger felt nonexistent in the calm bubble growing around her. The next pass at the joint only served to expand the bubble. No consequences. No rules. Happiness. She leaned forward, her hand reaching out to Mason's cheek. "You have a little something right here," she said softly, tracing a finger across the blush in his cheeks. "But it won't go away..." She tilted her head gently, her blue eyes wide as her gaze fell to his lips. Should she do it? Lean in and be happy? She was always happy in his arms. Happy on his lips. Happy. That's all Katherine wanted to be. That was just what she wanted. Something to watch, to see. Something to send them on new experiences, and let them feel the world around them in a new way. Something that would change them. Make them human, and not those studying robots they typically were. She watched as Katherine hesitated, before she finally gave in, and Chloe smiled. "Good job, Beckett! Hardest part is over," she then leaned back on the pillows, humming a tune until Katherine drew her attention to Mason's face. Chloe watched, amused, as she pulled Mason in for a kiss. She stifled a laugh, amused at the fact that gillyweed made Katherine frisky. She thought it was hilarious, not something she typically saw. Mostly, it made people lethargic, and creative. Free, and curious. Sure, people made bad decisions on the stuff, but that was the way with all drugs. Here Katherine was, kissing an ex, with a ring on her finger. That stuff was hilarious. And that made Chloe miss Shade. She should be in his arms right now, doodling and kissing, and modeling. That's where she really wanted to be. But then another thought came by. How does she know she's supposed to be with him? Sure, she loved him. She'd do anything for him. She'd sacrifice herself for him, but how did she know she was supposed to be with him? "How do you know you're not gay?" Chloe questioned out loud. "Like, I get the whole you know in your heart stuff. I get that, but how do you like really know?" She leaned on her knees. "I kiss Shade and I feel sparks. I know I love him. But, how do I know that the sparks I feel are real sparks? maybe I have real special sparks with girls? How are you supposed to know this stuff?" She questioned. Her soft, delicate fingers caressed his cheek and he found himself leaning into the touch. He tucked a lock of hair behind her ear. This was going to make things harder. Mason didn't seem to care that he was smitten with Katherine or that she was smitten with him. Her head tilted and she glanced at his lips. He looked down at hers. They were very pretty lips, like little flower petals, soft and velvety. He wanted his lips to meet hers. They were so close. If he just leaned in...Chloe broke the seemingly endless moments of charged silence and Mason rested his forehead on Katherine's. He pursed his lips and exhaled onto his sweater. He wasn't mad at Chloe, he didn't think he had the capacity at the moment to be mad at her. He guessed that if the gillyweed wasn't messing around with his head, he probably would have been grumpy at her. He had to stop and think about Chloe's question. What if he had kissed Rohan in the commonroom last year? What if he had just tried it? Just once? He and Rohan never would have fought like they did. They never would have gone at each other's throats. Rohan wouldn't have joined the mafia to get back at him and Chloe, and he never would have messed with them at the Yule Ball. Mason wondered if Heinrich kicked Rohan's butt when he'd transferred. He wondered, for the first time this year, if his old friend was happy at Durmstrang."I don't know." Mason finally shrugged and looked up at Chloe. "Everyone seems to think I am. I don't think I am, I've just never felt an attraction to the same sex, I guess. Maybe the right guy hasn't come along, I don't know." Mason was beginning to realize in his heightened state that he didn't know as much about things as he thought he did. Normally such a revelation would have sent him into another existential crisis. Mason pulled his hat over his ears and moved away from Katherine. The moment was gone. Separating was just easier. "I guess you just know when you know. I guess you'd have to try and see. I don't think I'd be opposed to it. I think I was just scared last year when Ro tried to make a move on me. He was my best friend, and I got scared. I didn't want things to be different, but it went way past different." Mason sighed. This gillyweed was making him awfully introspective and he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. Skip to next post Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #5 on July 18, 2016, 09:00:22 PM Unhappy. That's what Katherine was. She wanted to be happy but no, moment ruined. Instead of lips on her face, Mason gave her a forehead tap. What was that even supposed to mean? Did he not want her to kiss him? Because she was a great kisser. She knew she was. She was great at everything she did. She just was. So she had to be a great kisser. So why wasn't he kissing her? What did she do wrong? She pulled away, eyes cast towards Chloe and her latest crisis. And then looked back at Mason. "Wait a moment, Rohan... and you? Did I miss that?" For some reason, not only was the gillyweed affecting her attraction towards humans, it was affecting her memory. Her perfect, cursed memory that never forgot a thing. Ever. But she couldn't remember this happening at all, or even being told about it. Katherine absentmindedly scratched at the back of her neck, unaware of the small hives taking root and growing redder by the moment. She was too caught up in thinking about kisses and Mason and now, well, Chloe, to even think about the possibility that she could be very downright allergic to the gillyweed. So nothing stopped her from taking another few drags from it and passing it along like they had been. She leaned forward, on her knees too, drawing closer to Chloe and away from Mason. As if he wasn't there anymore, as if their almost kiss hadn't almost just happened. "You could find out really easily," Katherine said, resting a hand on Chloe's arm then slowly moving it towards her cheek to brush her hair back out of the way.Her high bubble was now consumed with thoughts of Chloe. Chloe and her gorgeous red hair. Chloe and her bright smile. Chloe and her soft skin. Chloe. Chloe. Chloe. So Katherine found herself leaning in again, except this time both hands found Chloe's body, one on her waist and the other entwined in her hair. Then, her lips found Chloe's.They were softer, not surprisingly, but invitingly soft. Much softer than Mason's. They were hesitant, and inexperienced. Katherine was just as inexperienced but she had the gillyweed driving her forward. Literally though. In a moment, she had Chloe back on the ground where she had been lying a moment ago. Her body hovered delicately over her as she kissed Chloe a little harder now. When she drew away, she smiled. And had just one question."Any sparks?" Skip to next post Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #6 on July 18, 2016, 09:38:48 PM Chloe hadn't realized she ruined the moment. She actually didn't care. She didn't care about a lot of things. Nothing worried her, nothing bothered her. That was the magic of gillyweed. It was why she escaped to it when she needed to get away. It was freeing, to be able to completely disappear, and forget about this world, and the social cues and other's feelings. But then, almost slowly, Katherine came closer, and Chloe smiled. She felt her roommates soft hand on her arm, moving upwards, and another in her hair. The girls would sometimes braid each other's hair and Chloe found it surprisingly comfortable. Typically, she would have been alert, and curious, and more cautious, but instead, she found herself completely and utterly okay with this. Their lips met gently, softly at first, as Chloe leaned back, bringing Katherine with her, her hands slipping into her back pockets. Finally, Katherine pulled back, and Chloe opened her eyes. She let out a string of giggles, as she sat back up. "No spark, but that was fun. Weird, but fun."That then got her thinking. Does she even feel a spark? Does she feel it with just about any guy? Or is it just Shade? "Mason, I need to test something," she said, nearly launching herself at her best friend, kissing him passionately, nipping at this bottom lip. She ran two hands through his hair, and then she pulled away. "Yeah, that definitely was better. No spark, but definitely more comfortable." She shimmied back to her spot in the circle, and pulled the fallen beanie back on her head. "Guess I'm straight then," she said, picking up the joint again, and taking another hit. "You two aren't bad, you know. I think Mason is a little more my style, but I like your technique, Kath," She rested the joint back down on the little plate, and looked over at her friends faces. "What, what did I do? Do I have something in my teeth?" She asked, smiling big, showing off her teeth. Skip to next post Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #7 on July 18, 2016, 10:07:20 PM Mason nodded. He hadn't told Katherine about Rohan. He wasn't embarrassed, but he did feel guilty that he single-handedly caused issues between the international wizarding schools because he hadn't kissed his roommate. Mason didn't want to think about Ro anymore, so he went back to looking at the lights. He blinked and Katherine was on top of Chloe with her hands in her red hair. "Oh." Mason's head retreated into his neck. "That's not something you see everyday. The lavender menace strikes again." Mason shrugged and lazily blinked one eye. He couldn't get both to close at the same time.Mason normally would have felt like he was intruding on something, but he'd never seen two girls kiss before. he'd heard this was a kink, but he didn't get it. He liked looking at the lights more and squinting and tilting his head so the lights changed shapes. He looked down when Chloe said his name. He blinked the other eye slowly, "Anything for science, I suppo-" He didn't get to finish, Chloe was on top of him and tenaciously kissing his lips. Mason forgot where he was for a few seconds and started kissing back. He was fantasizing about kissing a mermaid. But like, not one of the ones in the lake, the ones like in the animated movies and sea shanties. He couldn't remember if he had ever heard a sea shanty, but he must have because he was thinking of them. Her hands were in his hair and he pathetically curled a red ringlet around his index finger without picking his wrist off the floor. Hair was finally introduced to his lungs and he remembered he wasn't underwater. It was a good, solid, long and charged kiss. Mason had always dreamed about kissing Chloe. That was until last year when he knew his chances were shot and gave up. For so long he wondered, and now that it had happened, it was good. It wasn't the fireworks and symphonic orchestra in the background, because he didn't want fireworks and musical accompaniment. He didn't want Chloe anymore. They were friends. That didn't meant she couldn't smooch his brains out, which she had. Mason blinked both eyes.He felt like he'd fixed something, but couldn't remember what. Mason looked at Katherine and raised an eyebrow, his chin flat against his neck and breathing heavily out of his nose. He didn't know why his head was situated on his body like this, but he didn't want to stop. "I gots me some style, Beckett. Power bottom, dats me." Mason pointed at himself, the gillyweed was really making him act like a nut. Mason turned back to Chloe and his left eye blinked. He was overcome with unexplainable sadness that faded in an instant."You've got gums in your teeth. Shade is lucky to shake hands with those gums." Mason was making exactly zero sense. But he did not care one little bit. "Shade is a lucky man-boy-buy-man-person." Mason looked at Katherine and nodded, "I think" Mason added, but he wasn't sure why. Skip to next post Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #8 on July 18, 2016, 10:19:58 PM There were no sparks for Chloe but oh, there were sparks for Katherine. It could have just been the powerful herb she was smoking but there were sparks. She felt charged with the energy from these lovely, lovely sparks and would do anything to lay her lips right back down on Chloe's. Maybe it wasn't Chloe though that caused the sparks, it could have just been the fact that she was a girl. Katherine's brain put a pin in the existential crisis that she could experience later on. "It was fun," Katherine said, her hand reaching up to her lips. She traced them with one finger, wondering if she'd actually just kissed her roommate with those lips. Her best friend. Had that really happened? A giggle rose up from deep in Katherine's chest, bubbling over her silly little grin. But the giggle grew darker and deeper as she watched her so-called best friend attack Mason's face with a hell of a lot more passion than Katherine got. The giggle turned into something more of a growl, her grin warped into a snarl. "Guess you are straight," Katherine spat with her tiny little hands curling into tiny little fists. She did her best to channel the absolute flood of anger that was overwhelming her entire body. Her passion and the romance that had spun her into a tizzy was nowhere to be found. There was only this particular set of emotions left. Jealousy, anger, rejection. "Straight for someone else," she said as she cast her ice blue eyes at Mason before looking at Chloe."How is Shade? The live-in boyfriend. Mr. Perfect. The one you can't stop gushing over. How would he feel if he knew you were kissing other boys, and girls?" Katherine started her onslaught of very unhappy words, aiming them all at Chloe. The gillyweed gave her power, it gave her the ability to not hold back. To not be groomed and charming and cowardly. It gave her confidence."Or I could take him for a spin if you don't mind? If you're going to use Mason like that, I don't think it would hurt if I used Shade? See if he's the kind of guy I feel sparks with, or maybe he'll feel sparks with me?" Skip to next post Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #9 on July 18, 2016, 10:45:35 PM Chloe was confused, as Katherine spat the truth at her. shade wouldn't be happy to find out Chloe was kissing other people. She wouldn't be happy if he was kissing other people, and they worked really well on the golden rule. But the comments turned meaner and meaner, reminding Chloe of the last year, when she had been a target of Katherine's ruthless attacks. "Last time I checked, you broke Mason's heart. You have no claim over him. Also, last time I checked, he was way more into me than he ever was with you. Shocker, I know," Chloe said, pulling her beanie back down, and narrowing her eyes to mere slits. This was war. She wanted a fight? Chloe would give here a fight. On Gillyweed, she couldn't help but speak her mind, no matter the amount of regret she felt for it. Chloe picked up the joint, spinning it around in her fingers. "But, if you so much has take one step towards my Shade, I'll pull out every one of your pretty brown hairs," she placed the joint between her lips, and pounced on to Katherine, pinning her under her knees. She took out the joint from her lips, blowing smoke into her face, and then taking the joint, holding it precariously close to the girls cheek. "Or, I could scar you so you'll never be wanted by anyone ever again. Your choice, Beckett," Chloe smiled, taunting Katherine with the bright red end of the lit paper. They were readying their cannons. He had the vague feeling he should be afraid. Then that feeling became stronger and Mason became very afraid. "I'm not really that into y-" Mason felt up an objective finger, but Chloe ignored him. "Why are we being so possessive right now?" Mason whined as Chloe tugged on her beanie. Mason wasn't sure if the gillyweed made him black out for a second or he couldn't remember how to open his eyes for a few seconds, but Chloe was on top of Katherine, and they were not kissing again. Chloe held the joint dangerously close to Katherine's face.Mason couldn't believe what he was seeing. He knew that Katherine was bluffing about Shade. She barely knew him. She was too busy playing games with Rohan last year to even get to know O'Connor during his senior year. Mason probably thought now would be a good time to intervene and he groaned as he crawl over to the squabble. "You guys have to chill." Mason plucked the joint out of Chloe's fingers and puffed until his fingers were hot and he tossed it out of the fort and onto the tile floor where it couldn't burn anything. He grabbed Chloe's shoulders and hauled her off of Katherine with surprising ease. Either she wasn't resisting much, or he was stronger than he thought. Maybe gillyweed gave him magical powers.Oh wait.He already had those.Mason plopped down right between them and pressed against each of their foreheads with the his palms. The gillyweed was really doing a job on him now. He probably shouldn't have smoked all that at once. He could feel his heart beating slower and slower. He wondered if his animagus was a turtle. Then he remembered it was a coyote and was fine with that."Can we just chill for a second?" Mason cleared his throat. "Chloe," Mason addressed the fiery red head first, "Katherine could barely handle this." Mason looked down at himself, "So there is no way she could ever get near Shade. And Katherine." Mason slowly turned his head, "I am flattered, really, but remember you are also engaged, and I am enjoying my time as a bachelor at the moment, thank you." Mason had to think for a second about what he was talking about. "We are just experiencing some adverse affects to the gillyweed." Mason forgot how to close his eyes. "Katherine, your forehead is really hot. Like, not in a sexy way, but, you know, temperature wise. I mean, your forehead could be sexy, it's possible, but I am not an expert.""I just wanted to hang out with my two best friends and smoke a little G-weed." Mason started to sniffle, his eyes were watering and he couldn't close them. "Can't we just get along?" Mason was full out crying and flopped down onto his face, the blankets and pillows muffling his wheezy weeping sounds. And not in a good way. She was angry but now she was shocked, and a little scared. The redhead's voice was echoing in her ears. Mason's broken heart. Couldn't get to shade. Burn. Wait, burn? Wasn't that really really really against all the rules and a little bit illegal? Or a lot illegal? Was Chloe really going to burn her face? Katherine wasn't taking any chances and she just held as still as she could, doing her best to ignore the burning joint dangerously close to her cheek. Then the joint was gone, and then Chloe was gone. Katherine lay on the floor, stunned but what had just happened. A moment later she slowly lifted back up, finding Mason's palm pressing against her forehead in an instant to hold her back from Chloe. What had just happened? Why was Chloe upset? Katherine wasn't mad at her? Why was everyone so upset?"I'm engaged?" Katherine asked quieter and looked down at her hand and the big rock glittering on her hand. Right, she was engaged. She knew that. She remembered if she tried really really hard.Hot forehead or not, there was no time to assess the situation before Mason flopped on the floor. "Oh, come back up here!" Katherine said as she reached out her hands to latch onto the shoulder closest to her, yanking him up to make sure he got some oxygen in his needy lungs. "We do get along, we're all friends right? Why are people fighting?""When did we get here?""When did we get here?" Katherine asked quietly, her nails seeking out the nearest itchy spot on the back of her hand. Threatening Katherine was a choice, a decision that she has made. She knew what she was doing, but was doing with with no care of the report cushions. Part of her knew she'd never do it, but another part of her dared her to. Luckily, Mason dragged her off before she could do anything too stupid, but ended up doing something even stupider by smoking the entire joint. He would be incredibly high all night for doing that,he'd be lucky if he could talk, or conjure a single formed thought. She leaned against his hand, his nice cold hand, feeling comfortable not having to lift her head anymore. It was nice to put the weight on someone else, in this case, Mason's palm. "You've got big hands, Mason," she said, crossing her eyes to look at it. "You know what they say about big hands? Big feet. And you know what that means? Big shoes." But then, she watched as he fell face first into some pillows. That probably wouldn't be too good for breathing. "Mason, you should probably not try breathing in that pillow. A lot of butts have been there," she said, watching curiously as Katherine pulled his face up, leaving him to wallow outloud, and not into a pillow. Chloe didn't know if she preferred it into the pillow. She wasn't even thinking about Katherine as she blubbered on about something. When Chloe finally looked up, she understood why the blabbering. Katherine's face was broken out in hives. Ugly. Red splotches appeared all over arms and hands. Chloe immediately started swearing in her head. What was she going to do now?She had one guy crying his eyes out, with his eyes open she may add, and a girl who was having memory problems and was broken out in hives. How did she end up the adult in this group? How did she end up the sober one, when she was definitely not sober? "Katherine, what's your name?" She asked. Katherine was having something. Something kinda serious that Chloe would definitely recognize if she wasn't so high right now. "You're having something, I don't remember what, or how to treat it, but I know it is something!" Chloe had to do something, so she fell back on an old tip she learned from Mrs. Hunter, when in doubt, cold cloth. Chloe took off her beanie, soaking it in aguamenti, which took a minute to remember, and then placed it gingerly on her roommates face. "You're okay, Kath. You'll be fine!"She looked over to Mason. "I'll deal with you after," Skip to next post Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #13 on July 19, 2016, 12:23:47 AM Mason couldn't stop crying. He was so high and couldn't remember why he was crying in the first place. But, it felt good, so he kept doing it. "I have tiny hands and my feet fall out of my shoes." Mason whimpered and put his head in Chloe's lap. His evil plan had worked but he didn't even remember that he'd had an evil plan in the first place. He lamented over the many square inches his hands would never reach."Butts." Mason repeated pathetically. He could not put a proper thought together. He started to drool a little bit on Chloe's pajama pant leg. "Dragoon." Mason barked at Katherine. He was trying to say that she looked like a dragon with all of those red hives looking and awful lot like dragon scales. He had to itch his tongue. He nearly swallowed his index finger as he itched his drooling mouth. He'd forgotten to brush his teeth. This upset him, and he cried harder. He remembered he was somewhere secret, so he cried quieter. Mason covered his face in protest of the stray water Chloe's wand sprayed all over him, soaking the front of his sweater and his hat. He was all wet. He was glad he had a tee shirt underneath. Now all he had to do was get his sweater off. Mason lifted his head out of Chloe's lap and grabbed the bottom of his sweater with his arms crossed over each other. He pulled up, and once the hem of the sweater was at his head, he realized he was stuck. He lost his balance and fell onto his side, his arms pinned above his head. He probably would have panicked in a normal scenario, but he felt like a caterpillar, and this brought him great comfort. He was once again below the fairy lights and out of Chloe's way. He cooed at the light bulbs and he dribbled down the side of his face. She repeated as Chloe asked what her name was. Who didn't know their own name? Maybe little tiny humans didn't know their own names. Like how dogs took a long time to learn their names. Did humans take a long time?Katherine never wanted to have tiny humans. Ever. She didn't want to grow anything in her tummy or pop out anything with a heartbeat or a brain or tiny fists and loud, hungry mouths. She wasn't cut out to be a mother. She would get so frustrated so quickly with any kind of devil spawn that she managed to carry. Then her face was wet, and she was holding a beanie to her face. It was cold and wet. But it also smelled. A little like sweat, a little like the gillyweed, and... strawberries? What kind of heavenly shampoo did Chloe use? It smelled so yummy but so gross at the same time. But the water felt nice on her hot and itchy face. Was hot and itchy part of the package? Did all the weed smokers get the hot and itchies?"I am not a dragon!" She snapped to the bawling and cooing Mason on the floor. "I'm a girl! I'm a ravenclaw!"She looked at Chloe, a brief look of confusion playing across her features. "Why did he say I'm a dragon?" She asked as she itched like mad at the back of her neck. "I'm not a dragon, I'm just itchy and sad and happy." Skip to next post
"sounds pretty great to me." Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #1 on July 16, 2016, 02:48:48 PM Mason tried to hide his goosebumps as Chloe locked the door behind them, "How comforting." He sighed. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #2 on July 16, 2016, 10:37:57 PM A look of disgust flashed over Katherine's face. Crinkled nose, furrowed brow. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #3 on July 16, 2016, 10:59:32 PM Chloe watched with a profound sense of joy as they got high, and actually let loose. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #4 on July 18, 2016, 08:42:11 PM Mason was pulled back to reality as the lights from above his head moved, and his face was intimately close with Katherine's. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #5 on July 18, 2016, 09:00:22 PM Unhappy. And had just one question."Any sparks?" Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #6 on July 18, 2016, 09:38:48 PM Chloe hadn't realized she ruined the moment. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #7 on July 18, 2016, 10:07:20 PM Mason nodded. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #8 on July 18, 2016, 10:19:58 PM There were no sparks for Chloe but oh, there were sparks for Katherine. See if he's the kind of guy I feel sparks with, or maybe he'll feel sparks with me?" Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #9 on July 18, 2016, 10:45:35 PM Chloe was confused, as Katherine spat the truth at her. shade wouldn't be happy to find out Chloe was kissing other people. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #10 on July 18, 2016, 11:15:22 PM "Oh" Mason looked at Katherine as she fired her first volley of verbal assaults."Oh" Mason glanced at Chloe as she fired back."I didn't feel used at all-" Katherine cut him off. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #11 on July 18, 2016, 11:26:34 PM Floor. Floor. Floor. Floor.Katherine was on the floor, underneath Chloe. Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #12 on July 18, 2016, 11:51:55 PM The scariest part of Chloe in that moment was how unbelievably calm she was. "I'll deal with you after," Skip to next post
Re: [March 11] Ravenclaws Soaring High (closed) Reply #13 on July 19, 2016, 12:23:47 AM Mason couldn't stop crying. Skip to next post
