Physical Description:
Bella has a bit past shoulder-length dirty blonde hair. She has dark brown eyes matching that of her wand. She is 5'9.5", and weighs roughly 140 lbs. She is often pale, but when time is spent in the sun she'll get a very nice tan. She is often seen wearing black and red tortoiseshell glasses, but prefers wearing muggle contacts. She is very athletic looking, most of her muscles in her legs.
Both of her parents are of French descent, but Bella has spent all her life in England. She has an English accent, and since she grew up speaking a lot of French, a few words are pronounced in a French way.
People tend to notice Bella’s height, but more often notice how she holds herself up. She walks very strong, and has the aura of always knowing where she’s going and what she’s doing.

Personality Description:
Bella is very ambitious and sly, but this often leads her to being misjudged by her peers. She has a knack at all classes she takes, which also tends to make her unpopular due to the jealousy others hold towards her. Her knack comes from her father being a Ravenclaw, but Bella also enjoys most of her classes (Herbology and History of Magic being the exception). Her best classes are Charms, Arithmancy, and Astronomy. Bella has a pretty big mouth, and seems to get into trouble quite a bit.
She can be very sensitive, but hides her feelings as she will never be seen as weak. Her father’s death has always made her feel as if she should avenge him, and therefore is up to most challenges. She is extremely susceptible to expecting the worst, and she does not think of this as a bad thing. Bella is often brave despite of that.
Bella does have a playful side but most people don’t notice it since she isn’t the most social person. She finds that she doesn’t “fit in” with others, although there are a few younger students who admire her. Bella has admires her father after all the stories her mother has told her about him.

History:
Bella grew up mostly with her half-blood mother, as her father died in 1998, during the Second Wizarding War. She was kept hidden away in a small townhouse in London, as her father's death greatly affected her and her magic would often get out of control. Her mother also didn’t want Bella to suffer the same fate as him. She grew up like a muggle for the most part, but wasn’t schooled until her first year at Hogwarts. All she knew about the wizarding world was the stories of her father, as her mother didn't feel Bella ready to know too much yet.
During her first two years at Hogwarts, she was sort of in the background of everything, often afraid to speak up. She still had some of the highest marks in her classes. When she entered her third she felt more powerful. She had more freedom, and decided to do something about being a person nobody knew. She became more outgoing in classes, and has stayed that way. In her fifth year of Hogwarts, Bella is one of the best students. She has made a mark, although most people are a bit intimidated by her still.
Bella often helps around her home over the summer, and is found at Hogwarts during most breaks. She is planning on an internship at the Ministry of Magic over the summer.

Bella was chosen due to her cunning nature. She experienced a hatstall between Slytherin and Ravenclaw, but was eventually placed in Slytherin to a part of her dismay.

Bella lurked down the hall, her telescope in her left hand, a few books in her right. There were no other students in the hall yet, as Bella decided to arrive early to observe the Andromeda galaxy.

She heard footsteps behind her. Bella quickened her pace.

"Oy, Bella!" It was a fifth year Hufflepuff, Mare.

"Hi Mare." Bella muttered.

"Ready for Astronomy tonight?" The Hufflepuff asked cheerfully.

Bella nodded curtly, and proceeded to the Astronomy Tower.
