I do not know how to get a copy of the internet for myself. How do you get an internet? I a sure you that I will internet responsibley. One of the fifth years told me that I cannot have an internet at school but I can if my home is right for it. Does Edinburgh have an internet that I can borrow to see if I like it??? Thank you so much for your pateince and kind regards to me for reading this letter. I do not like to bribe people but I will bribe you if you really really need it. I love all the work that you do in helping muggle families and muggleborns and I apreciate all your hard work and effort. It is definately a dawnting task!!! If you have questions about my eligability for internet please refer to my cousin Balfour Spectre who works with dragons or with my cousin Nona Spectre who works in the werewolf wings. I promise that they will be a good referince. I wish you all the love and happyness in the world and I hope that your coffee is the right temperature! Isla Eileen Murdina SpectreHufflepuff House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and WizardryScotlandMUGGLE AFFAIRS OFFICEDepartment of International and Magical CooperationMinistry of MagicDear Isla,It's nice to meet you. I am so happy you thought to write to me. Please, call me Dree. It's much easier. And thank you for your well-wishes. My coffee was perfect today. I probably have you to thank for that.I am glad you are enjoying Muggle Studies! My mother went to Hogwarts as well and it was her favorite class, too. Of course, it was always my favorite subject. You will no doubt want to talk to Professor Asher as well about this, but I wouldn't want to disappoint your mother, since she thinks so highly of me. To start: you are in luck. Yes, you can get access to the internet. You probably cannot get it at your house, though. Let me explain why. The internet is not a thing like a book you can read or a song you can listen to. It is more like a place you can visit. Imagine a big library that has everything you could hope to see or to learn: pictures of your favorite singers, information about why the sky is blue, or ways to purchase your favorite socks. The internet has all of this--all you need to do is access it. Unlike a real library, though, with brick walls and chairs and bookshelves, you cannot walk into the internet. It is not in a building, or a field, or a space at all. It is almost like magic that way. But I can tell you how you can get there. Have you learned about computers in your class yet? They are maybe the most important thing a Muggle can have these days--and this is the way you can get to the internet. This Muggle device is like your "library card." You use it to get into the internet "library" so that you can go exploring. Once you are "on the internet," as Muggles say, you can use the internet to find what you are looking for. (In this way, it's helpful to think of the internet as both the library and the librarian. The internet doesn't just have the information--it actually helps you get it, telling you where to look and how to get there. It can be very helpful.)Just like a library, there are rules and ways to find things. I'm sure you didn't walk into a library for the very first time and know which book to read or how to find it! It's the same with the internet. Just like you had your mother, father, or the librarian at Hogwarts to teach you how to find things, you'll need someone to teach you how to use your computer and the internet to get the information you want. Now, I have two pieces of very good news for you: 1. I know someone who can teach you. My mother is a very good teacher, and she works with students in the summer with things just like this. I am sure if she talks to your parents, and they agree, she could teach you how to use a computer and the internet. and 2. There are ways you can use a computer for the internet. Muggles have wonderful libraries, which are places with walls and chairs and computers available to everyone--Muggle and magic folk alike. You can go to the Muggle library to get on a computer to access the internet. I hope you get a chance to visit a library to use the computers this summer; it really is an entirely new sort of magic, and no less wonderful than our own.I hope this letter was helpful. Please do not hesitate to write with more questions, as they come to you. Questions are important! I wish more people would ask them. Sometimes I am very busy, but I will do my best to respond and, if I am not available, I have other people who work with me that are also very good at answering questions. Your a very very very good writer!!! I do not know if you noticed but I am better at speaking then writing and for that I am sorry! You seem to understand me tho thro though. It is okay if you disapoint my mother because she is used to disapointment. Thank you, thank you thank you so so much for explaning the internet to me. There are some muggle libraries I know I can go to in order to learn how to use it. Is your mother a professor of the internet? I am not sure that my dad will let me learn internet from a stranger but I know he is looking for a tutor for the summer because my writing is so atroshus. I think he is very conserned because of the kidnapping that happened last month so he is being carefull. His name is Benneit Spectre and he runs a Hippogriff farm. My maman works at that farm to but she grooms and shows the best hippogriffs. I have some questions for you. What is 4Chan? Is it true that the internet has cats???How did you make your words so easy to read? What spell did you use? Did you write on a computer? Have a beautiful day Mr. Dree!!!! I hope you get all the hugs you want ever!!!! Love,Isla Skip to next post Re: [March 3-] Consulting a Professional [Dree] Reply #3 on May 25, 2016, 12:52:48 AM Mlle. Isla Eileen Murdina SpectreHufflepuff House at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and WizardryScotlandMUGGLE AFFAIRS OFFICEDepartment of International and Magical CooperationMinistry of MagicHi, Isla! Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I like writing on the computer a lot, so writing letters to you gives me practice. I guess all that practice is how I improved my writing; thanks for noticing.I had to use the internet to learn what 4Chan is--and I'm not sure I fully understand, but it seems to be a place where people can write all sorts of things for other people to read. Think of it like a bulletin board. People write what they want, sometimes with pictures, and anyone can read it. I'm not sure what you mean by cats, though. I have noticed that on the internet people do tend to write a lot about cats and put up pictures and videos (moving pictures) of cute cats. So in that way, there are many cats on the internet. Do you like cats? I have two myself, and they are wonderful.I also love talking about Muggle technology and my mother, so you are making my day. My mother works for the Ministry (and my office), teaching squibs and other wizards and witches who maybe didn't get an education at Hogwarts so that they know all they need to in order to do well in our community. She is especially good at Potions and French, but has been a teacher for almost all subjects--even Muggle ones like math, rhetoric, and science. She's not going to be teaching any of these at a university level, but she makes a great tutor. She tutors a few Hogwarts students on some subjects, as well to help them prepare for O.W.L.s.If your parents ever want to bring you by my office, I can arrange a meeting with my mother. I am sure she would love to meet you and your family; they could decide whether she can be of help. Dreogan EleorDreogan M. I love all animals except for geese but geese are the epihtome of evil in this beautiful world. I have a dog named Maverick at home but I was allowed to bring my rat Rocky with me to school. Rocky is short for a type of cheese but I can't remember what its called but its French. We do not have any cats right now but I think I can convinse my parents to get one. They like animals to. I think its sweet in a wierd way that you like to talk about your mother. I asked the counseler if it is normal for grown men to like to talk about there mothers and DRAMATIC PAUSE she asked me why I am talking to grown men about their mothers. She also said that 'normal is a social construcshun' but we talked and she says she knows you and that you are definately not creepy. There is a picture of your baby in her office and its not even her baby and I told her that was more creepy then grown men talking about their mothers. I sent an owl to my dad and he says he will send one to you for tutering things. He is soooo funny I think you could be his friend. I have a joke for you!!!!! How do kittens get on the internet? WITH A MOUSE!!!! I have another thing to ask of you if you are so kind to answer. Whats an internet troll?? I thought muggles dont know about trolls???Goodbye Mr. Dree and I hope your lunch is PERFECTLove,Isla Skip to next post
