Healer Arcturus Hollingbury, recovers in St Mungo’s this morning following a dementor encounter[1] at Hampstead Heath.  Hollingbury, 31, was rescued shortly before midnight by Aurors Gamp and Pinn responding as an advance team for I.D.R.E.A.D, the Inter-Departmental Response and Engagement Against Dementors task force.  They were successful at driving the dementor from the scene, and Hollingbury was treated on arrival for dementor exposure.

In the wake of the incident, the Department for Magical Law Enforcement reiterated their advice: “We ask the public to remain calm in the face of Dementor attacks, as a positive temperament is our best defence against them, as a society.”

However, sources state that this was no chance attack. Wanted criminal, Lawrence Musgrave was encountered at the scene but evaded capture.  "Our department confirms Musgrave's culpability and every effort is being taken to locate him,” Solomon Carstairs stated early this morning.

It is unclear why Musgrave would have interest in attacking Hollingbury unless to settle old scores.  His father, Mordecai Hollingbury, Head of the Improper Use of Magic Office and Wizengamot member is a known muggle and muggleborn sympathiser, assigned to the Muggleborn Commission during the Ministry occupation, while Musgrave was imprisoned for war crimes committed while interrogating for the Commission.

Arcturus Hollingbury is hoped to make a full recovery in the care of his colleagues. The Hollingbury family declined to comment when reached.
