Hey, Zel--
First, you're under no obligation to respond to this. I did want to reach out, though, and see how you were doing. As unfortunate as the publicity has been, experience tells me that it will definitely help keep the ball rolling. I know I'm not the lead Auror assigned to your case, but I'll be doing what I can to keep that momentum. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or if anything occurs to you that might be helpful.
It sucks; I get that much, at least. And it's not always easy for Aurors to include children in investigations (I'd like to think it comes from a sort of protective instinct) but you're of age and I would like to as much as I'm able. At the very least, let me know if you'd be up for me smuggling you and your mini-Trumbles some candy and contraband. Auror life has its perks.
I'm keeping an eye on Em while you and the hell-raisers are away. Our land ladies are pretending to be relieved. They're only starting to believe me that I didn't really expect Lucas to use the dung beetle bombs in his own home. But I know it's just Mmes. Kettleburn and Andrews' way of staying strong and hiding their extreme sorrow now that they're nearly Trumbleless.
