Llywelyn is around 5'8" tall, and has a lithe build. He keeps his copper coloured hair cut short, and has icy blue eyes. He is fairly pale skinned, and has a rather prominent nose.

He naturally has a constant frown on his face, and his brow furrowed on thought. His facial features are slowly shadowing a masculine angularity that will take shape in the coming years.

    Personality Description:
Llywelyn is the quiet kid who seems to blend into the background. He goes about his own business, and tries to avoid conflict, and drama as best he can. He is a calm intellectual, who always thinks before he acts. He likes to consider himself a staunch Welshman, and can speak Welsh, and English fluently, due to his Father's nationalistic attitude. Llywelyn is his own biggest critic, almost self-destructively so. He puts on a stoic mask of nonchalance to hide his loneliness. This loneliness tends to cause him bouts of melancholy, in which he becomes irritable and hides away from others. Due to his stoic nature, he tends bottle up his emotions, which then turns to frustration and anger. Llywelyn’s love of stories has left him as a bit of a romantic in every sense of the word. Be it in love, history, or other things.

His passions are the few things that can break Llywelyn's shell. One is his passion for history. He considers himself a novice historian, and avidly studies the history of the Welsh, and English. His other passion is all things Magic. Ever since his aptitude was first discovered, his father, had excitedly begun to tell him about the world of wizards. He lets his lust knowledge guide him through life. Although he has difficulties when it comes to more practical magic, as he prefers theorizing than actually performing. With that he has taken a liking to Charms and is determined improve his abilities. He also quite enjoys Ancient Runes, and enjoys his Muggle Studies course, as he enjoys seeing other perspective on the non-magical folk. He is under developed socially, and always had trouble forming, and maintain friendships with people his own age, and prefers the company of older folk.

    History:
Llywelyn was born to a Muggle mother, and a Wizard father in Caernarfon. For most of his childhood his father's profession and abilities were kept secret from him, as his parents were unsure if he was magic. Thus, he spent a good chunk of his formative years living as a muggle, but that quickly changed by his 8th birthday when he began to show signs of magical abilities. When he got his letter of acceptance to Hogwarts it was one of the happiest days of his life, he was going to the school his father had went to when he turned eleven.

Llywelyn felt like he was different from other children, not due to his magical aptitude, but his personality. He had learned to read and write faster than his peers, and would prefer to read and learn, than play with other children. He was always fascinated by the stories his only living grandfather told him. Stories of chivalry, kings, and soldiers, and most importantly King Arthur, and Merlin.

Llywelyn at Hogwarts kept mostly to himself, and never made any friends. He would always scoff at the socialising of others, and forever had his nose in a book, and trying to pretend he's invisible. He excelled at History courses, and anything pertaining to magical theory, he struggled and continues to struggle with consistently performing magic. He seems to be well liked by his professors due to his eagerness to learn and hardworking nature. He thinks he fits into his house well enough, as he assumes he’s surrounded with like-minded individuals who are serious about their learning.

    Writing Sample:
Llywelyn hit the bed with a thump. He let out a sigh of relief, as the weariness of the day begun to fade from him. He lifted his pillow and pulled out a book. Its pages yellowing, and the corners were worn. It's obvious that it has been well loved. The cover depicted a man in noble regalia, with an ornate crown on his head, a sword at his side, and sceptre in hand.

"Hello, old friend" Llywelyn whispered, and a smile crept across his face.

The book was Thomas Malory's Le Morte d'Arthur, it had been his grandfather's own copy, when he gifted it to Llywelyn on his 14th birthday. He opened the book to where he left a small scrap of parchment to use a bookmark.

He was immediately transported to a world different from his own. A time of despair, romance, martial prowess, and faith. He often thought what it'd be like to live the life of the nobility in the high medieval era Malory describes.

Although his transportation to the realm of Camelot did not last, as his eyes began to tire, and sleep began to beckon him. He ruefully closed the book, and tucked it beneath his bed, and blew out the candle he was using for light. Sleep took him, and he was once again whisked away to Camelot castle, to where the knights of Arthur gather...

Sum up your character in one paragraph:
Llywelyn is a shy, (mostly) calm intellectual, whose pursuit of knowledge guides his life. The young Ravenclaw wants to dedicate his life to studying the history of Magic, and his people.
