Physical Description: Josie is fair short and is a little overweight. She has dark short hair. Her eyes are brown. She has a happy smile. Her cheeks are round and rosy. Josie likes to wear muggle clothes. Josie is muggleborn so wizard clothes are a novelty. She has a collection of wool hats. Josie walks quickly. She has a great laugh.
Personality Description: Josie is very friendly. She is curious and likes to ask people questions. She remembers faces. If she is lucky she will remember names too. Josie likes to give people hugs. Hugs for happy times. Hugs for when they are sad. Hugs are the best. Josie has a big personality. She wants to be the friend who is always happy. She wants people to think she has no troubles. Really Josie can be anxious. She imagined she would be more successful. She can be impatient when she wants something. Josie keeps lots of friends. She would like a close friend.
History: Josie has a brother and a sister. She is the middle child. Nobody else in her family has magic. Perhaps her great uncle has it. Nobody hears from him. She grew up in Whitby in Yorkshire. She liked spending time by the sea. The tourists were everywhere in summer. Sometimes Josie and her brother would con the tourist children out of pocket money or sweets. Josie liked to hear stories from people.
When Josie went to Hogwarts she thought she was in a book. Everything was amazing. It was very scary but very fun. At school lots of people thought she was related to some other people with the same surname. Trying to look cool, Josie lied and said she was.
Josie liked being in Gryffindor. It was like a big family. She liked studying History because of the stories. She also enjoyed charms and transfiguration. Josie wrote for the school paper. She enjoyed interviewing people.
Josie took her NEWTs and finished Hogwarts in 2006. She applied to work at the Daily Prophet but was turned down. She wrote for the Quibbler. When you want a proper job you do not talk about writing for the Quibbler. She wrote a few articles for Witch Weekly too. Josie needed the money. She was living at home.
She wrote short stories and sold them to magazines. Even to some Muggle places. Josie also tried to work for Obscurus. She proof read books. Really she would like to write biographies. She just needs to find an interesting person to let her.
Describe your job duties and how you go about them: Josie spends a lot of time travelling around. She writes wherever she is. She takes photographs and keeps notes about everything. She tries to sell her writing to lots of places. Sometimes she gets to write things people ask her to write. Josie takes on odd jobs to make ends meet.
Elaborate on your expertise in your field: Josie wrote for the paper at school. After that she has written for lots of places.
