Dear Amaryllis,

I am writing to thank you again for your great assistance on the night of the 15th in Hogsmeade[1]. It’s rather dwelled on my mind since then, in honesty.

We were all very lucky that there are such efficient wands in the Ministry in such circumstances. I do hope everyone was unharmed, or easily healed. It’s an awfully risky task. However, based on the study of your name I am a little reassured you are of the temperament required for such work. You have courage and boldness, but I worry that your warm and devoted nature may take it’s toll on your emotions. I deeply hope this is not the case.

I enclose a little something in thanks to you, and hope that if one must keep topped up on chocolate, at least one can consume the most delicious  Belgium (my birth country) can offer.
