Sex education lectures at Hogwarts have been something members discuss on-and-off, about as often as we talk about contraception in wizarding society. We thought it might be a good idea to examine the concept again, with students soon graduating into the adult world! [1] Complete with adult situations!Speakers/TeachersDietrich Eisenberg & Shona Donovan (Contraception)Maiko-Biladeau Yukawa & Rick Donovan (Consent)Cepheus Gamp & Grigory Gonchar (Interspecies Relations)Carol Kemp & Jules Deville (Pregnancy/Labour)Arc Hollingbury (STDs/STIs)Lecture Topics Contraception - french letters (condoms), charms, enchanted jewellery, tattoos, etcConsent - What to do if you suspect someone has been given love potion? What is consent? When can/can't consent be given?Creatures - What you need to know about sex outside of your speciesConsequences - guest speakers - magical STDs/STIs and Pregnancy/LabourHow and When?Essentially a panel of speakers will present their topics and take questions, open to 3rd years and above. The panel will involve informative pamphlets, Q&A sessions, role-play demonstrations and so on. It will take place on the 27th of March. Questions may be submitted in an anonymous questions box. Venue? Hogwarts Library. But...Understandably, not all families will want their children exposed to information like this on account of being highly conservative or afraid of progress. That's fine! It is assumed that parents and guardians will be sent letters of notification, with the option not to allow a student to attend.[2]What other ideas does everyone have? Any changes to the above, other topics to discuss? Would you like to volunteer your character to lead the seminars or to be a guest speaker? OKAY. We're full up on speakers for the panel! Consent will probably lightly cover kinks (thank you Connor) and Internspecies Relations should definitely be a subject that is broached! It could be one of the questions suggested through the anonymous questions box - which is a great idea, perfect for teens who are too embarrassed to raise their hands at the seminar.
