Sandwich Filling

Thank you ever so much for your verbal message, relayed by my secretary, Kayla this morning.

I am in no doubt you both enjoy a ‘Ceph sandwich’ but would you refrain from suggesting we collectively make one via my junior colleague.

It resulted in a very awkward conversation on my 'preferred filling' with Mrs Lanningham, who only by her good grace and incredible tact, managed to convince Kayla I create elaborate ham sandwiches, on which you were reflecting.

I would have you both know that Mrs Lanningham has requested I "fetch my own bloody lunch" if I insist on continuing to pollute the extremely-serious-and-professional work atmosphere on level four. As it seems I must find my own nourishment, Cepheus, I hope you will be able to provide one of these elaborate ham sandwiches.

Please ignore any messages Kayla might relay about whether or not you would prefer to go without dressing on your salad.

Thanks to your most recent messages via Kayla, she now believes we’re planning an elaborate salad-based lunch function.  Asking whether I prefer a creamy Italian or spicy thai to accompany my salad only provided more queries, especially when it came down to who I prefer to dress my salad, and whether I might dress a friend’s lunch too.

I did tell her dressing was usually optional at these events, and then realised she was actually thinking about leafy vegetables.

So lunch, 1pm. Don’t forget to wash your salads.
