    Physical
    ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Sebok is short, standing at a mere 5'7, and seems likely to stay that way. He has a rather standard look to him - dark hair, dark eyes, angular features and large and slightly out turned ears. He can be described as handsome, pretty even, by those brave enough to say this within earshot. He does not appreciate the pretty complement in the slightest.

Scars from his attack marr the side of his face and jaw, though they've faded as he'd grown and filled out. He likes them, feels they add a little extra edge to his toothy grins. He's quite muscular for his age, making up what he lacks in height in punching power (and sheer determination). His teeth are slightly more pointed than normal, which also helps.

He dresses sloppily, sticking to a t-shirt and jeans at almost all times when he's out of uniform, and he wears his uniforms like he fell into them. His ties and cuffs are often frayed due to his chewing habit.

    Personality
    ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Sebok is a lot of things, and most of them are negative. Selfish, stubborn, aggressive, resentful; he regards the world as not wanting him, and through his behavior guarantees it. He's loud, brash, quick to anger and even quicker to violence - he functions as most idiots do, by dragging others to his level and beating them with experience. He understands violence, and is through that comfortable with it. He uses it as an all-purpose tool to escape from things he doesn't want to deal with.

He has few positive traits; those he does have are so thoroughly buried in the cloud of resentment he travels in that they're rarely seen. He can be protective, he can be loyal, he can be supportive - but more often than not he is unwelcome and his reaction to that ensures it. He uses harsh language and often resorts to his fists. He likes to rile people up, to get to them and savor having, on some level, won merely by getting them angry. He doesn't care about being politically correct or polite; he says what he's thinking in the bluntest, most simple terms possible. He uses words to hurt and doesn't give a damn about their social or moral implications.

Sebok generally does not have friends, unsurprisingly. He prefers the company of animals to people, and is very good with them. That his curse makes some animals flee from him on sight is not something he likes, much less wants to discuss.

He embraces being a werewolf more than most, relishing in his wolf-like traits. He often looks forward to the full moon and his transformation. He wears his curse like a badge of pride and enjoys threatening others with it, dismissing those who fear him as idiots.

    History
    ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Born the son of Székely Zsoldos, Hungarian Ambassador to Britain and Ada Valentine, daughter of the American diplomatic attache, Sebok's early life was quite privileged indeed. He grew up as a young boy in the charmed circles of upper class London and, at least technically, has met the Queen. (Nowadays he will not admit this out loud, of course). His only wizarding relative was his uncle, Josie Valentine, and the boy knew nothing of the magical world.

Up until the age of 8, his young life was...normal enough, given his background. He spent much of his time at a purchased manor home in Corby, attended an elite academy, parted his dark hair straight down the middle, and practiced looking dour in pictures. He spent most of his time with his mother, given his father's duties, and all in all life was quite charmed.

That all changed one pre-dawn night, when he'd snuck outside to catch newts in the nearby stream. He doesn't remember much of his attack aside from the rapid nature of it - the wolf hit him from across the bank and tore at his face, chest and arms. He was bitten on the side of the face, leaving scars that show on his cheek and jaw to this day. Bleeding and unconscious, he was found and rushed to a muggle hospital, where doctors failed to stop the bleeding. Panicked and desperate, his mother called his uncle.

Sebok doesn't remember the chaotic events of that night - what he knows he knows secondhand. His uncle arrived in the early morning and extracted the bleeding child from the hospital, obliviating the doctors on the way. The silver and dittany applied saved his life, but he lay at home grievously injured, his parents cowed into keeping him at home by his looming uncle, who warned them not to let any muggle doctors examine the boy.

His uncle told them, after he watched the boy for a few days, that their son had been turned. At first his muggle parents hoped the man was wrong. His mother Ada knew of wizards and werewolves due to her brother Byron's magical talent and curse, but had never dreamed her son would be one. That fragile hope was dispelled when the next full moon rose and he turned.

The first time he turned he remembers vividly. Tiny as he was, he ran rabid into the estate's grounds, sought out something to kill and found it in the stables. He was found in the morning, naked and curled asleep in the shredded remains of what had been his father's prized racehorse.

His parents were clueless: only his uncle offered them any answers, and her brother was never the most helpful man. They followed Josie's advice to the letter. The first cage they got he broke out of; the second, made of cast iron, held him. He spent the next few years mysteriously absent from the parties and gatherings his parents attended - always away visiting his grandparents, or at some elite private school, or ill. Whatever excuse they could find for their son being nowhere to be found.

To say it hurt his relationship with his parents - especially his mother - is an understatement. His parents both came from a history of political and social ambition, and their best laid plans for him had been laid waste. His father, to whom this was the first introduction to the magical world, withdrew from him almost entirely. His mother was more supportive but could never truly hide her fear, nor understand what to do with him. And the further they withdrew the more 'the beast' rose in him: Sebok had anger issues, and his budding magic showed. He threw tantrums that destroyed priceless artwork, chased and bit the maids, set fire to the manor...His mother blamed the dog in him, his father cursed him and stayed away in London. Only his uncle seemed able to control the tiny boy - largely via terror - and his mother assumed this was due to their shared curse. That his uncle didn't care to control him, much less visit or help at all, only gave his mother further fits.

The arrival of his Hogwarts letter and the ministry officials that followed were more of a relief than a shock, though the officials were quite surprised to find an unregistered werewolf. It was his introduction to wolfsbane, a little thing his caring uncle had 'forgotten' to mention. (Slipped his mind, of course; he was such a busy man).

The wizarding world was...new. Like all muggleborns he was shocked, even if his curse had torn the lid off the whole thing years before. Technology without technology, hexes, curses, candy that made you float; all of it was quite enchanting. But it came with a nasty footnote - his condition was one that was known about. Students talked, teachers fussed. From day one he turned his curse into a badge of honor and defended it; he snapped at other students, punched another student on the train before he'd even arrived, and was very quickly on the defensive.

The hat put him in Hufflepuff, though quite why he's never really understood - he assumes he simply didn't fit anywhere else. Not that he'd prefer any other house - the Slytherins were all snobby twits, the Ravenclaws nerds and the Gryffindors...well, alright, perhaps he'd have liked to be a lion. But even they had that awful cheery pluck he resented, and they had this thing about being Harry Potter's house (whoever the hell that was).

As a badger he didn't fit in. Coming from a house reputed for its friendly students, Zsoldos was a nuisance from day one - stubbornly failing his assignments, threatening to bite at other students, fighting whenever he could. He cared little for his classes (especially the ones with all the wand swishing - what sort of idiot did that willingly?) and didn't bother to hide it. But he had no urge to go home, and so he tried just hard enough. Nowadays he can swish his wand and only mostly feel like a tit, but it's progress. His theory classes he's never recovered at, especially Astronomy.

But begrudge the world though he might, Sebok came to like Hogwarts, especially his second year. After a miserable silent summer back with his parents and his iron cage, the castle was a place he could be himself, even if he got yelled at for it. And so, as with his classes, he slowly curbed and cooled. The boy who'd attack others outright has calmed just enough to avoid constant detentions, but has hardly become an unfamiliar face there.

As for his NEWTs? He returned for the last few years to avoid graduation as long as he could. The boy has no ambition, no real goal; he assumes blithely that as a werewolf he's no real chance at a job, and assumes more correctly that his personality guarantees it. He detests summers at home and has spent the last few in the 'care' of his uncle, who usually promptly kicked him out to fend for himself in Diagon. He's picked up quite a few skills that way, namely ones that involve locks and using magical items to keep himself dry and fed.

The only future he sees for himself lies with his uncle's business, and that isn't exactly something he looks forward to - he knows his uncle's nature, and Sebok knows a beast when he sees one.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?:
Sebok is definitely one of 'the rest'. While he does, deep down, have a loyal streak, he's too mean for Gryffindor, not smart enough for Ravenclaw and lacks the ambition of Slytherin. He's a selfish creature who resembles his house's mascot in many ways.

    Werewolf
    ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Turned by an unknown werewolf at the mere age of 8, the curse was Sebok's introduction to the magical world. He and his muggle parents spent several years struggling to handle the curse; his parents, whose only advice came from his not-so-helpful uncle, set him in an iron cage and withdrew him from school.

Sebok was not registered with the Ministry until the age of 12, when he began his education at Hogwarts. He was also first introduced to Wolfsbane then; his oh-so-caring uncle had 'forgotten' to mention it before then. He's spent his school years' full moons in the Ministry cells, though in the more recent summers has been allowed to 'wolf out' with his uncle and experience the full werewolf night.

    Characteristics
    ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁

Sebok embraces the wolf more than some of his fellow Hogwarts werewolves do, and the result has been some rather odd behavior and some interesting side benefits. Physically, he's stronger than his small frame should be, and his teeth are tough and his canines pronounced. His powerful jaw and tough teeth have given him a taste for bone and a habit of chewing...and nearly everything he owns has been chewed on. He devours pencils, sticks and anything not tough enough to withstand his chewing, and often takes the large beef bones from dinner with him to finish later. Like most, he likes his meat rare or raw, and has a fondness for bone marrow.

His senses in human form are enhanced, giving him decent night vision, a good sense of smell and better than average hearing. As a wolf he appears with the colors and patterns of the Eurasian wolf, his coat brownish-red.
