A pale blue envelope - the note inside has been typed rather then written.

Morgan,

I write to enlist your services. You will find enclosed a detailed request for a particular magical item to be constructed by the 14th of this month[1]. It is imperative that this commission does not leave the premises.

If you would be in touch upon completion, further instructions will be forwarded.

This letter arrives Feb. 7th, bearing no crest or other identifying marks. Within 12 hours of its seal being broken it catches a peculiar blue flame and burns itself to nothingness.

Almasy,

The item is finished. I await your instruction.

This letter arrives the evening of Feb. 8th and repeats the destruction method of the first.

Almasy,

The item is placed. As always, it was a pleasure doing business with you.

This letter arrives early evening on Feb. 12th, written in a swift but decisive hand.

Almasy,

I am writing regarding the kidnapping in Hogsmeade. You have always been exceptionally well-informed; any light you might shed on the situation would be appreciated, particularly given your personal involvement. It was an admirably neat maneuver. I only wonder if pureblooded children were the best recipients of that trick.

Unless the purebloods of Hogwarts are expressly drawn to foods of an amorous nature, the intention was unwitting.

They might prove worthy of the birthright.
