Kohaku was skeptical about this whole event.
The first thing that he noticed, was that the majority of the men were older than him. If they were rich, however, Kohaku doubted that they would've been here.
In fact, he didn't know why exactly he was here. Part of him wanted to get to know more about... Wizards who weren't directly friends with his sister. The other part of him was simply, curious. This seemed fun enough. He was single. It couldn't hurt to try to be more social. Besides, this seemed like a non-committal sort of thing.
Kohaku couldn't hide his disappointment when he sat across from a man who was clearly, old. Rufus was handsome enough, that was certain. But he was at least ten years older than him. Kohaku didn't want to date someone ten years older than him unless they were rich, married, and easy to blackmail. So what if that meant that he was 'morally questionable?' He was a guy who knew what he wanted.
Rufus, however, was insistent. Kept poking and prodding about Kohaku's uncharacteristic silence all while grinning that... Cocky grin of his. It was grating. It couldn't hurt to talk about his interests, could it?
"I like quidditch." Kohaku admitted. In fact, he was quite a fan of quidditch. "Football. Star Wars. Video games." Muggley things, he thought. Though that wasn't bad-- just reflective of his very different upbringing. He raised his dark brows at Rufus, curious more than anything. "I didn't know you fancied men."
