Without asking questions,
Nell followed along behind Juni, assuming that the situation was not quite as severe as her friend was making it seem. She shot a glance towards Esther, an eyebrow raised in question as to what this might be about. Juni was absolutely quiet the entire journey up to the seventh floor – after the first several staircases, Nell had an idea of where Juni was leading them.
A few paces later in front of an unassuming wall, and the three had been allowed passage into a cozy-looking room that they could comfortably talk in without the fear of someone walking in on them. Not that Nell thought it would be
too much of an issue if someone were to stumble upon their conversation.
At Juni’s outburst, Nell furrowed her brow at her friend. “This
is some exciting news,” she pondered, her tone curious, “though was all of this secrecy…necessary?” She looked around the room, and decided it was actually rather nice to be away from the rest of the student body, before her gaze landed back on Juni. Nell settled down into an easy chair near Juni’s beanbag, tucking her feet in as best as she could. “And what’s this about him not realizing you guys were flirting?” Nell wondered, her confusion apparent on her face, “If you guys were cuddling…he had to realize it a bit, right? He can’t be that obtuse when it comes to flirting.”
