Physical Description: Rose stands out a bit due to various striking physical attributes. She has nearly platinum blonde hair with fair skin covered everywhere in freckles. Her eyes are even more striking, since she has complete heterochromia; her right eye is brown, her left eye is blue. However, she is a tad less than average in her height, standing at a simple 5'3''. Her body shape is average, as well with her typical, developing hourglass figure.
When not in Hogwarts robes she's got a Muggle based wardrobe, consisting of jeans, shirts, and sweaters. She likes her jeans in a dark wash, while her tops to be far lighter in color, usually pale or faded colors. She doesn't care for jewelry, so she wears none.
Personality Description: Rose is a no-nonsense, rather straightforward and kind-of blunt person. She will quickly voice her feelings to people, whether she likes them or not. It may be said that she doesn't have that brain-to-mouth filter that most decent people have, or it doesn't function as effectively as it should. This is because she had to make her way into the wizarding world with little aid from her Muggle family, so she had to make herself self-reliable from an early age. This self-reliance continues in her studies, since she studies hard in all her classes. She usually doesn't like to be disturbed when she's engrossed in her textbooks or trying to write an essay, pushing herself academically as if to prove that she's just as good as everyone else around her.
Due to this personality of hers, it's best not to rile her up and get her angry. There are, thankfully, few buttons one can push to achieve this. The easiest way to do so is to belittle her by disrespecting her magical abilities because she's Muggleborn. She firmly believes that one's worth/value should depend on their skills, whether in-born or developed, and not their bloodline. Should she get upset she'll most likely lash out physically and land a punch at the offender, and walk away feeling pleased.
Because of how blunt Rose is, she's got a bit of a rough exterior, which helps her to contain the rest of her emotions within. She prefers to have everyone believe that she's as tough as she lets on so she can bottle up and hide everything else that gets to her. However, should that emotional bottle overflow she'll make herself scarce so that no one sees her break down into tears. After having a good cry her emotions level out and she's back to her usual self, the bottle of emotions ready to fill up again.
All of this combined makes it tad difficult for Rose to really make friends with people. However, should one persist and manage to touch beyond the surface they'll find that she's an honest and loyal friend. They'll also find a surprising gentleness to her. Because her "friends" are few and far between she'll hold them close and do all she can to make sure they're as happy with her as she is with them.
Any flirtations or romantic gestures towards her are lost on her because she doesn't believe the person behind it really means it. Part of her believes that no one would actually care for her on that level.
History: Rose was the anticipated child of Emma and Cecil Taliesin. Being Muggle parents they raised their daughter as any normal Muggle would. All things non-magical were commonplace for her and it was such things she became used to. While she was raised on stories of magic and fantasy as a little girl as well, she was told they were just that--stories.
However, starting at a young age Rose had a peculiar way of behaving at times. There would be moments where she would act completely normal, then blank out entirely for a few seconds, even up to a minute or two, then resume what she was doing, completely unaware of what had just happened. Her parents noticed early on and thought maybe it was some sort of condition, but no normal doctors could determine what it was since it happened so irregularly. It never truly caused Rose any trouble so her parents decided to simply keep an eye on her as she continued to grow.
But as she grew, her "condition" persisted. By the time she was six Rose was retelling strange dreams she would have in the night, and then eventually see them happen. The one that really got to her parents was when she dreamt of her mother holding a baby, telling Rose about her baby brother. There was no way Rose could have known, and neither did Emma about her own pregnancy until a few days later. (Rose's foreseen little brother was named Arthur). And it wasn't just dreams, there were the occasional, strange phrases she'd suddenly say, her gaze distant and her voice not entirely her own. Other strange, inexplicable things would happen around the girl and her parents tried again with doctors, only to have them, once again, come up with nothing concrete as to what was happening.
It wasn't until the girl had just turned eleven that the possibility of answers came with a letter. Acceptance into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Had her life been far less strange Rose's parents would have thrown the letter away and forgotten about it, but by this point they were willing to try the idea of magic. If it meant understanding her dreams, visions, and eerily accurate trances, Rose was willing to try as well.
And so the girl was prepared as best as she could with her parents for school and sent off. She had been unsure, at first, but when her professors and other students could offer answers to questions she could not until then she began to learn and take it all in in earnest.
A particular help during her schooling was when she finally got to take Divination class. More than eager to learn more on how to make use of this ability, by this time she'd come to understand she was a Seer, she threw herself into her studies with greater fervor and even took up to keeping a small crystal ball with her. It was a silly thing, at first, but she came to find out that she would, indeed, see hazy visions within at times.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Rose is certainly determined, having worked hard all these years to see her efforts be just as rewarded as Half-Bloods and Purebloods. And to those whom she considers a friend, she treats with the upmost care and compassion; she will stand by them through whatever trials they might face, since she knows, in her own way, it's hard to do it alone. From the start of her years at Hogwarts she's pushed through, facing what comes at her, and overcoming it.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: Rose is a determined young woman to see herself achieve, thus pushing herself hard with that hard exterior which contains a far softer version of her inside should anyone try to reach in. Blunt, sometimes to the point of rudeness, to those she keeps at a distance but gentle and caring for those who call her "friend" (and mean it), she's just a young woman who wants to feel that she's as talented as everyone else around her. And though her Seer ability certainly hasn't been mastered yet, she's getting the hang of it.
