[Sept 10] A Preoccupation [Balfour]

on February 25, 2015, 07:51:52 AM

Memorandum
To: B.Spectre, Department for Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures
From: J.Storm, Department of International Magical Cooperation
Date: 10th September 2010, 3 o'clock

Dear Sir,

Re: Recent Discussions

I have considered matters at great length since our last. A preoccupation.

Although the matter in hand was resolved with a brief solution at our last assignation, I propose a longer term resolution.

It will require thorough testing.

Regards,

Johann,

Re: Re: Recent Discussion

A pleasure to see that your quill is as filthy as that mouth. If this resolution requires so thorough a testing, please consider myself at your disposal. After office hours?

I have plans for your exquisite necktie. Do bring it along.

Cheers,

Shortly after the receipt of the previous memo, a brief, terse argument ensued between Johann and his junior colleague. She point blank refused to attend the meeting he had promised to cover - the Seychelles would not wait for Pinn, and she was 'done with covering his unreliable backside'.

Sir,

Re: Re: Re: Recent Discussions

I shall make sure to do exactly as you request.

I anticipated your esteemed, well respected secretary may be receiving these memos on your scheduling behalf?

Regrettably, a meeting with Transport will detain me for an hour. I cannot reschedule at this late time, so shall curtail as best I can so as not to keep you waiting.

Will call on the fourth directly.

The memo reeks of potpourri and tea leaves

Dear Mr Storm,

Rescheduling

As my employer is presently ill-disposed, I have been requested to write that he is more than happy to receive you at any hour in his offices.

I might add on a personal note that it would be incredibly unwise to come by our division's main entrance.

Sincerely,

H. LANNINGHAM
