The wiki weather took a break for a few months but is now back bigger and better thanks to Cody's recent work. The weather for July, August and September are now on the wiki and we encourage you to refer to them for all your weather needs when adding flavour to your writing. The summaries now include detail for the whole of the British Isles (that's England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland) as well as the charts for London and Hogsmeade. Thanks, Cody!


We were 6 years old on January 20th, 2015. In case you missed it we celebrated with sharing some memories of AO.


There's been a significant update in the calendar mods more info here as published in January. Add your character's birth date to their forum profile to see their IC age, and easily calculate ages for new characters with a handy updated calculator.


Tags help organize threads here on Absit Omen! Using keywords, each thread can be sorted by plots, dates, and characters involved. When tagging, keep it simple and consistent. Strive to tag dates, plotlines, and characters in a thread.

Date your threads as so: September 2010, September 1 2010 for a Sept 1st thread. Tag characters, tag plots (but keep the tags clean, so don't tag the kitchen sink...!)
