Lenora watched as others shed their under things without shame, and not wanting to be outdone (though she might not be academically competitive, it showed up in other aspects of her life), she shimmied out of hers in the water and tossed them ashore near her clothes. She threw back her head and laughed loudly when Sophie screamed at the cold of the lake. "Don't think his garters would help much with the cold," she told the Gryffindor. "Blimey, though, it is freezing." Her teeth chattered a little. Hot coa coa after this was a must. Or some tea.
"None of my business what my brother does with his nipples," Lenora said to Marco. "I don't look at them. And I definitely don't get near to them if I can help it." Her brother then screeched and dropped from the tree, and found his way into the lake. She shook her head. Nora loved her brother, she did, but he was so very strange. Even so, if anyone messed with Eli, they had to mess with her.
"Best way is all in," she said to Marco. "Going slowly only makes it even colder. C'mon, Marco, man up!" She went closer to the shore and splashed water at him.
Zia used her wand to warm the lake up a few degrees. It helped some. But she was still cold. "Thanks, Zia!" she called out. Lenora floated on her back, relaxing a little, propelling herself around with her arms. But she was startled from the comfort of hr floating when she heard a voice calling out- What do you think you're all doing? She sputtered as she lost her balance in the water, swallowing water as her head bobbed in the water. But it was just Gamp, so her worry ceased.
"Ugh, don't even joke about Storm seeing us out here. He'd expel us all, and I'd never be able to face him in class again if he saw me without my clothes." Selwyn on patrol? Ariadne had to be the bravest prefect and student there was. The new potions professor was absolutely terrifying. "Joining us then?" she asked. "Or are you here to bust up the party and haul everyone off to the castle for detention?"
