How’s life since school decided to get in the way? You better have a study break somewhere in there. And write back when you do. Too many classes can backfire, my friend, trust me.

Thanks for the stuff. I have a friend with rock hard abs who needs some softening. (Not too much.) I’m buying you a ginormous coffee on the first Hogsmeade weekend.

When is that, by the way? If they make you wait until Halloween to get your freedom fix, I can send some owls to my aunt’s boyfriend. I hope he isn’t being too much of a hard ass. What a match made in heaven. That that man is anyone’s boyfriend tells me he’s secretly teaching Dark Arts, not defending against them.

I am sooooo glad you got it!  Personally, I think it’s some of my best, so really enjoy it.  Make sure those abs don’t get too soft though.  Not much use at that point, eh?  (Let’s make that coffee you owe me a chai, though!) 

I don’t even know when the first Hogsmeade weekend is.  Not soon enough, I’m sure!  I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love school but… you know how it is.  Everyone is so… engrossed in school.  Is it really the be all end all of the world?  Thankfully, I’ve got enough friends who don’t seem like they’re losing it – but classes can be such a drag if everyone’s energy is off.  (If you can’t tell, I’m rolling my eyes at the thought.)

From what I know, it’s not surprising your aunt would be with someone like him – and you know, my mum always points out how women of their age tend to… hit a stride, so to speak.  Merlin knows both of them probably need it.  Too bad I don’t take DADA anymore… it’d probably be much more pleasant with all the endorphins and oxytocin being released on a regular basis. 

Wish I was getting the same, if you know what I mean (wink wink – I’m sure you do!).

I've already enjoyed some of it. I had to test fly it, you know. Don't worry, there's no danger of that. He's a cowboy, Indi. Have you seen an American cowboy walk around London? It's worth giving up a pool of chai. But I'll still buy you one.

I get you. School is the kind of love you WISH you could quit. But then it reaches out with its parchmenty arms and you have to keep loving it because adulthood is next you also secretly love the way you look in that tie. And Gryffindor is pretty awesome. Obviously. And those armchairs. Find a way to steal and owl me one. I need more furniture. I know you're all about spreading the wealth.

Anyway, I'm glad you picked GOOD, LAZY friends. Keep up the hard work. Bring them around and I'll buy them chais, too. (Some of them might have to buy their own, but it's the thought that counts, isn't it?) All of your brilliant friends (example: me) should mingle. Especially if I'm working!

Miranda is definitely drinking virgin's blood or something, because she's always hitting her stride (she's seriously never not hitting her stride!), but STILL. He was my PROFESSOR, Indi. Couldn't she at least go for Donovan? I heard he's up there now. (Photographic evidence would be much appreciated.) Or his sister. I mean, come on, Miranda.

The tournament was last year and there were many Americans.  While I prefer the objects of my affection to be along the lines of angel dust chic, I can appreciate a strongly built individual.  So, though you can’t see me, I am giving you a standing ovation for your excellent life choices. I knew you would make good choices post this place. But, does this ab-tastic cowboy have a name? An age? Brothers?

I think I’ll only really miss the chairs – and the lack of responsibility.  Being a grown up sounds absolutely abysmal.    When I join you in it, we can both complain. For now though, I’m still going to be crazy about essays and projects.  So glad I took the fewest classes possible as soon as possible. 

That way I can focus on my… extracurricular activities. 

But ugh – he’s still my professor.  So… ew.  I can’t have that going through my head every time I see him at breakfast or in the halls.  It’s already like watching a griffin walk on two legs.  Now? It’s just wrong.  You’ve ruined everything for me.  I’ll need to smoke so much I can’t remember even writing this letter. 

(That doesn’t sound unpleasant, actually.  I just might.  Supposed to hang out with Eli tonight, so it’s a distinct possibility.) 

You know I have always had my ways of releasing endorphins.  The adoring crew hasn’t stopped adoring.

ALL types are delightful to look at. But this one… upgrade of the century form the average stranger in a bar.

You wouldn’t believe his name if I told you. (I’m going tell you. Are you ready? No, seriously.) Benjamin Dover. His nickname is exactly what you think it is. Merlin bless his innocent, lovable parents. He’s 26 and I think he does have a brother. Should I send an owl to Montana and drag you to the dark side of the Atlantic? Or drag it over here, I mean.

You have your priorities straight. If you ever need a place to crash post-school, my couch is yours, assuming I’m still living in this place. You have plenty of time to figure out adulthood. I have plenty of time to figure it out, too.

Extracurriculars look good on a resume, don’t they? And they show you have passion. Win, win.

I’m sorry I’m a life ruiner, Indi. But I’m ok enabling some things. I know you have it in you to multitask.

How’s Eli, anyway? Keep each other warm. You know what I mean.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you yesterday!

Things got mad around here and it was killing me not to write back.  I spent all night thinking about Ben Dover and you have to know, I laugh every time I think of it.  There were random moments when I was doing some reading for Care of Magical Creatures and… well… Ben Dover was a much better thought.  (So is his brother, for that matter.)

I bet if I knew him, I could say that was really true.  But, if I knew him you would probably be mad with jealousy.  After all, like Jason Derulo, of American pop music fame, I can be Ms. Steal Yo Girl (or boy, in this case - though I'm not picky).  Don’t worry, though – I won’t.  I’m preoccupied enough here for one girl. 

As for Eli, he’s good.  We drew on each other yesterday afternoon.  Much better than a real tattoo – I can just wash it off and get more.  You don’t want to know what’s on my lower back (wink wink).

My life is lazy all of the time. I pass no judgments. Except maybe that you’re willing to catfight in the mud.  I’m certainly not.  Though other things in the mud… I might not mind (wink wink!)   

Tell me which broom closet you were messing about in when you were here and I can continue defiling it.  It can be like a tradition.  I’m sort of looking for something like that: something to put my name on.  Maybe I’ll carve our names into the closet. 

There are really endless possibilities for all of this.  Same as my tattoo.  Which you will never, ever get to know.  Except for this clue: it starts with a P and ends with an S.  Do with that information what you will. 

I really wish you’d reconsider the coursework thing though.  You clearly passed, so you should remember enough to help me finish my education.  Then I can come see you… and cuddle on your couch and share my stuff with you.  While cuddling, we could hopefully watch your boy bend over.  Quality entertainment. 

We could also use a big, fuzzy blanket.  If you help do my coursework, then I can graduate and all of these things can happen.  If not, I’ll be stuck here forever – you don’t want that, do you?  (If you do, karma will get you).

Indi, can't you read sarcasm? Maybe I didn't write any. Do I look like a catfighter to you? Ok, maybe a little. I mean, lion, check. Mud, check. Making my claim! Check! But yeah, no, there are way better things to do in the mud. I think he'd get a kick out of that, you minx.

There's one way up in one of the towers (maybe they got sick of walking up and down the stairs). We took its innocence. I know that's not a very specific location, but... Happy hunting! Make my name look legendary, thanks.

I can feel the caretaker confiscating this before he even opens it. He should known that there is nothing wrong with PEN PEACHES. I hope it's pretty. A pretty bunch. Of peaches.

As much as I love that plan, coursework and I had a mutual breakup. You can still come over if you get sick of school or graduate or have a break.

Stop GUILT TRIPPING ME, Indica. It's not good for the vibe you provided. I will repay you in something else. Like food.

You know you want to “wrestle” in the mud with me.  Everyone does.  I’m especially fun to wrap arms around when I’m slippery (wink wink!).   I’m sure who ever I take up to this secret broom closet in a non-specified tower location will find that out very quickly. 

I’m thinking you meant bananas though.  Definitely bananas for you.  Though, I am a particular fan of peaches.  Only the finest of either though, of course.  We are very discriminating ladies.   

Though, just for your information: no one will remember your name after I am done with this year.  Honestly, they’ll have to rename a house or just add an entirely new one because I will be a founder of the greatest contribution to Hogwarts since its inception. 

We should totally hang out on Hogsmeade weekend coming up.  Then you can bring me some presents for what you owe me.  AKA you can write to my mom and help a witch out.  My supplies are being dipped into at an alarming rate (so much divination homework) and I could use some backup reserves! If I was going to have a mascot for my new house, it would be a big ol’ ball of gillyweed.  Or maybe a giant sloth or something… A chill animal, obviously.  (I know gillyweed is a plant, obviously, but it was my first thought and to hell with getting another piece of parchment for something so clearly amazing.)  But really, I’m all about the lion love – I just think my epicness is going to demand some way of being permanently honored and revered in these halls. 

There should be like… a student portrait hall of fame.  I could fill an entire wing with my prowess.  Not sure the headmistress would appreciate some of those portraits though…

Talk to my mum please.  Her garden is the… cradle of wonderfully delicious things.  I need them in my life.  Hogwarts food is, truth be told above and beyond, but they aren’t exactly my mum… for soooooo many reasons. There aren’t just garden treats waiting at the Kemp household!  Mum is always willings to help a sister out, you know.

A GILLYWEED TOKING SLOTH? I'm not sure why plants would be a problem. They have feelings, too. And the professors are were always bitching going on about how we'll use Herbology one day. You took them for their word and this is the result. Just promise me you'll melt their knickers, creating a fifth house. Hogwarts, the five-legged dog. (Lions forever, though, yeah.)

The headmistress can't fault you for art. She probably just doesn't know much about the modern stuff. Lucky for me, Guess The Password will be way more fruitful in your wing. It starts with a P, doesn't it?

Done and done. I just owled her a vague FRIENDLY warning of my approach. If George manages to knock up Nolan again, which will probably definitely happen, I'll send her some business, too. That one could use some stress management.
