At the front of the room is the professor’s desk, which is sturdy, neat, and long enough to put up one’s feet with-out much concern.On it is a photograph of a smiling young man, lanky and good looking.Between the desk and the door, seating consists of two loveseats and a pair of match-ing wingback armchairs. Black leather and simple in design, they lend a subtle edge to an otherwise old-fashioned room. Visitors can take a seat anywhere they choose—provided, of course, they stay away from the desk.
