Subject: MEMORANDUM Demented Documentation
Effective immediately, all victims of Dementor attacks will be interviewed according to new procedure (attached). This includes muggles who are taken to St. Mungo's for treatment of Dementor Dementia. This new procedure has been created in collaboration with St. Mungo's Hospital for the reason of discovering new treatment for the affliction and discovering effective preventative wards and other measures.
ERRATA:
- Wizarding victims will be asked to provide a sample for the Pensieve.
- This procedure may not contradict existing protocols concerning protecting the Statue of Secrecy in regards to obliviation on muggles witness to magic.
- Statements will be filed in triplicate: (1) Department of Magical Accidents & Catastrophes; (2) St. Mungo's Hospital; (3) Department of Mysteries
- Funds have been requisitioned for the purpose of assigning off-hours and on-call staff to administer these interviews.
