Well hello. It has been a long time since I have shown my face around these parts. Many a new character and player has graced these forums since I was last here and I hope to get to know them all.

That said I have brought back Olivia Foley 7th Year Hufflepuff Werewolf. Lots has gone on for this lass over the time since she was invented up in my head. Before fifth year she was expelled for being a werewolf and then she came back in her 6th year but left because she couldn't take the feeling she had. She had attacked someone (Sasha) in her time when she was expelled. Not a lot of people know she attached Sasha, or that she attacked anyone during the tainted wolfsbane incident. She has come to terms with having attacked someone, it took a lot of work to get her to this point for her to wish to even try attending Hogwarts again.


So what does this mean for Ollie? Where is she at? Well she is still the same stubborn, loud, opinionated, walking mess she has always been. Good sense of humour and understanding, and generally upbeat. For a time she was very depressed and lost, but she has worked on that. (She is also back to being her natural brunette but we shall see how long that lasts) She is very unkempt and mess, like she has always been. She is a lot more real and honest, and has become a bit darker as she has grown older and accepted the danger she is. But she still has the thought of well who the hell cares what I am. She works on trying to control it and she has done a good job 1 slip up since she was four.

So people who have known her since 1st year would obviously know she is a werewolf by now. Since is very public knowledge and she had never really hid the fact too much anyway. She is a lot more frank about it so they may notice a change in that.

I am looking for lots of things, anything really. Some people to take issue with her return, people who are happy to see her back. Lots of people to be put out she maybe didn't keep contact. She would love some new friends and some old ones. It isn't exactly common knowledge she has a sexual preference towards women. Though she doesn't really talk about it, or go calling herself a lesbian as she just goes to who she is attracted too and drawn to. Which admittedly is generally women but she wouldn't rule out the right bloke.

So nutshell....

looking for, old friends, new friends, enemies, people who are unsure.

I would love it people did treat her not as a new student or that they dont know her if your character has been at school since she has. They don't need to know her well but they have probably heard of her since she has caused some stirs. Of course if they are new students then might not have heard of her.

Okay enough of my babble. I am looking forward to plotting and glad to be back.

We've already chatted and established that she would be seeing Maiko regularly.

But I would looove for her and Zel to be old friends. Even before he was a werewolf, he grew up around it with his sister being a were.  He would've been the shy, quiet, supportive friend though now he's starting to slowly come out of his shell. I think he would have stayed in contact with her via letters.

Juni prob. thinks that Oliva is attractive, but is also hesitant to interact with her at all. Part of it is probably because she might not have been kind to Ollie before she left, and part of it is because a part of her is straight up terrified of werewolves. Being around Shona as a professor has helped her see the people behind the lycanthropy though. She might apologize to Ollie if she runs into her in the hall?

Eli probably wasn't friends with her before, but I can't see him being cold to her at all. He's probably friendly and tries to make her laugh.

I 100% support Zel and Ollie being old friends. Probably started first year? He could have been one of the first ones she told whats he was?

And Juni I would love to see them interact and see just how awkward it is.

That sounds great! I totally support both of those. Ollie was one of the first people Zel told after he was bitten, if I recall correctly.

Hey, I'm Derrek (a relatively new-ish writer at AO). I have a Hufflepuff who is in Ollie's year, Verity, who would most likely get along with her. Plus, Zel is one of Verity's best friends, so she'd have at least interacted with Ollie I'm sure. While I wasn't around when SAWS was first created, I imagine that Verity was fairly active in that, and she is going to help bring it back for their 7th year. She'd probably be the most likely to interact with her. While she is friends with Sasha, Verity would not hold the attack against Ollie, and would try to make sure that no one harassed her at the school.

I also have 2 other students, but they're younger years, but my teacher Cal is the Muggle Studies professor and he is supportive of equal rights for all people. If she is in Muggle Studies they would interact, but he's Head of Ravenclaw so they probably would not interact otherwise.

Obviously we've already talked about Sophie and Ollie because they're besties and love each other.

I do, however, have Waverly (aka Roh), she's in the same year and I am trying to suss out her feelings toward Ollie. On one hand she doesn't have a lot of predijuces because her parents are a lovely lesbian couple who raised her to believe if you're secure in who you are you don't have a lot to fear. On the /other/ hand Werewolves are dangerous. I think she would have felt it was really unfair for Ollie to have been booted from school (everyone deserves an education), but also safety. I feel like she might have kept her distance before Ollie was expelled and never really knew why Olls left school after getting back in or given it much thought but if she saw someone messing with Olivia she'd definitely be one to step in and lay out anyone going after her?

Just some thoughts!

Hi Dana! I'm Amberlee, I don't think we ever interacted before you left. I joined AO just after Ollie had been expelled.

I have five students currently. The most likely to interact with her would be Ayla. When Ollie was in school Ayla was like Fauna's shadow, a bubbly perky little social butterfly that needed to know absolutely everyone and easily became a little sister to all the older Huffles (this likely included Ollie) she's matured a bit from there, has struggled with her own identity and where she fits into the social dynamic of the school nowadays. She would be super excited for Ollie to come back though.

Next up is Xavier, a Slytherin in her year. He's not likely to have interacted with her much before. He's a little weary of werewolves at the moment. Just before his sixth year he was attacked by a werewolf and was forced to kill it in self defense. Since then he has been struggling with the notion that he didn't just kill a beast in self defense but an actual person. Part of him wants to know more about weres while another part wants to forget they exist.

Two of my other Seventh years really wouldn't have much interaction with her from what I can tell. Cadance is a prim and proper Slytherin Princess, groomed to be the perfect woman and a proper lady. She isn't outright mean to people but she has no qualms about just flat out ignoring people that wouldn't be good for her image. My other Seventh Year Peyton is the Ravenclaw Quidditch Captain and doesn't really do much outside of Quidditch. He's friendly and doesn't pay attention to rivalries (aside from the one he has with his half brother) 

Finally I have little Harri whose just learned about the wizarding world. Once she discovers that werewolves are real and that there are actual real live werewolves at Hogwarts she might start following them around, fascinated by the concept of them, more interested in what they are rather than who they are (at least in the beginning)

Hey Derrek. I don't think she would have  a problem with Verity and be friendly. A friend of Zel is a friend of hers. Verity may not know about Sasha anyway since I don't think it was too big of public knowledge.

Unfortunately she isn't in muggle studies. So I think our interaction for now will be limited to Verity.

SJ! Roh, well she will keep her distances if she has in the past. Ollie doesn't want to force herself on anyone.

Amberlee. I remember you. I can back for a very short time.

Alya might have annoyed her a tiny bit, to be truthful. As she most likely would have been a bit jealous of her shadowing Fauna. She wouldn't have mind her though and not shown or said anything.

Xavier she say she knows how you feel on some level. If they ever want them to run into each other and talk that is fine.

Yeah your other seventh years probably not so much. But random interaction is fine.

And Harri boy please have her do that to Ollie she will get so annoyed but try to be nice.
