Aubrey Plaza, Daria Morgendorffer, and the Janitor from Scrubs had a wild night, and Nico is their love child. He's a sardonic son-of-a-gun, and apathetic at best towards most people. However, every April Ludgate needs their Andy Dwyer. And he's a cutie to boot.


I'm looking for connections to various people, see who he might tolerate/torment. Maybe even who he might find a lovable idiot. He is also a Seer who claims to be a direct descendant of the Oracle of Delphi (but he finds the truth boring, so who know if that's accurate), and enjoys 'predicting' gruesome ends for people, but mostly he just sells test answers out of the Ravenclaw dorms for those desperate enough to purchase them. However, he loves animals and is very good at CoMC, so there is the possibility of bonding over the fact that animals are great (because they aren't people).

He and Winnie should thread, because she found out in her fourth year she is a seer. (After pretending to be one all through her third year it wound up true. Oops.) Anyway she started to issue a prophecy when she was in the library with Landis Morgan and since then has been doing a lot of reading and reaching out to other seers in the hopes of figuring out more about her ability. She's not the brightest bulb in the box and doesn't quite know how to navigate the seriousness of this whole seeing thing. She has a lot of weird dreams and predicts fairly mundane things pretty regularly. (Kind of like how Trelawney was all "get that teacup I don't like since yo're going to break that one.)

At any rate, I am sure she would probably get on his nerves. She's so bright and bubbly and hopelessly optimistic but she's going to end up clinging to any help she can get with the seer thing.

(Sophie Flickwick is also a seer and one of her friends. If you are at all interested in seery stuff you could always poke SJ, too.)

I think I have about three characters that would possibly interact with Nico.

The first being Ayla, a fellow Fifth year who just became a Prefect. They've already had a wee bit of interaction during the SEA boarding thread. She's usually bubbly and friendly though she dropped out of popularity during her third year after a feud with an older Slytherin that spread a lot of bad but believable rumors about her and she's still kind of recovering from that and trying to reclaim what friendships she can. The hardest part being that she constantly clashes with Esther who seems to have the entire fifth year class behind her

Next is Peyton Wentworth current Captain of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. There's a possibility that Peyton wold have bought test answers off him before if he was desperate enough (his position on the Quidditch team has always been dependent on his grades and he's lost his spot a few times when his grades have seriously dipped) Peyton's not too familiar with any younger years that aren't on the Quidditch team but his younger sister is in Nico's year and he may know him through her (currently adoptable)

The final is one of my secondarys Cillian Cuthbert. Cillian is currently the Curator of the Hall of Prophecies and has spent time traveling tracking down other Seers. He's a seer himself and owns a shop in Hogsmeade that specializes in Divination supplies. Cillian was also the Divination Professor during Nico's third year. 

Thea - Haha, Nico would find Winnie to be a total pest I'm sure, but she's Juni's friend so he'd begrudgingly tolerate her presence. And attempt to coach her in being a Seer, if just to get her to leave him alone for a bit. Though he might have a bit of fun 'helping' her decipher her visions, and just completely mess with her. A thread between them would be quite humorous because of their extremely differing personalities. XD

Amberlee - Nico is actually friends with Esther, though he wouldn't necessarily believe rumors about Ayla. He'd simply not care, as her bubbly personality would be enough to keep him away. Though, he isn't exactly a stickler for the rules, so her being a Prefect could give them cause to interact. =P

Now I actually do think he might get along with Peyton, and have even given him real test answers. Nico would play it off as good business practice to maintain repeat customers, but he would potentially find Peyton to be rather adorable. However, he'd never admit to it.

With Cillian, Nico would be slightly uncooperative. He doesn't tell many people  about his visions, and having them catalogued in the Hall of Prophecies would be quite unnerving for him. However, he is a brilliant if lazy student, and has always done well in Divination class. As long as Cillian didn't pressure Nico, he would be civil. Though he doesn't discuss real visions unless he feels like they might harm his friends.
