Physical Description: As tall as his father, Draco stopped growing at around 6' 3". He weighs around 185 pounds and doesn't have as much muscle mass as he did while he was at school. He doesn't get around to much outside activity as he used to, as he prefers to stay inside the house and thus his skin is still as pale as it ever was.
His white-blonde hair is not as perfectly styled as it used to be either. He mostly just has it hanging down without any product in it, and leaves it like that. He doesn't have it long like his father did, but rather short, stopping just past his ears.
His eyes, still pale grey, now have gotten a tiny bit darker, now more of a smoky grey.
His clothing, although he still has expensive taste, now consists of t-shirts, jeans, and sneakers. Yes, he knows it's mostly muggle clothing, but after the war he doesn't get out much, and when he does, he still has clothing that makes him look every inch like the pureblooded prince he used to be.
Personality Description: In school, Draco was a bully. He cared for little to no one and taunted and teased the rest. He had been raised to think he was above everyone and he loved to show it off. His attitude didn't change much through his school years mostly due to his rivalry with Harry Potter and friends.
At the end of the war, something changed. He began to see what the cost of being a Death Eater was and he realised that his family meant more to him than serving the Dark Lord. So, when given the chance, he left with his parents.
As he grew from the 17 year old young man with an attitude to an adult with a healthy respect for life in general, his attitude changed drastically. He no longer taunted those of less than pure blood, he still didn't trust anything that wasn't entirely human, (werewolves, goblins, etc.), but he made a point to be cordial when dealing with them.
He also holds a grudging respect for Harry Potter and co. He knows that standing up to Voldemort couldn't of been easy and they did so without flinching.
History: Draco Malfoy was born into the lap of luxury. Being the only son and heir to the Malfoy fortune had it's advantages. Being given everything you want, having people be friendly with you only because either they were paid to, or they were so scared of your father that they did so anyway. It was the life he had from a very young age.
His father, Lucius, was very instrumental in the raising of his young son, but not in the way he should of been. From the time Draco begun to understand things, Lucius began to teach him what he should believe in. Pureblooded wizards and witches were more important than anything else and muggleborns were filth that should be wiped from the planet. Draco adored his father and hung onto every word the man said.
His mother had very little to do with the raising of her boy. She loved him dearly, but with all her social engagements and the fact that Lucius spent so much time with the boy, she didn't hold much sway over her husband's claim on the child's time. And it was so much easier than arguing with Lucius that she just left well enough alone.
As he started Hogwarts, he had heard that Harry Potter was starting too and his father suggested he make friends with the boy, so he tried, but only in the way he knew how. By belittling the boy's choice in friends and stating that he was a better choice. This began the Potter-Malfoy rivalry that lasted through seven years of Hogwarts.
Draco tried everything to get Potter and his friends into trouble, some times they backfired on him, like the dragon incident in 1st year. He tattled on them to McGonagall and relished the fact that they received detention for being out late at night, but his enjoyment at their punishment disappeared when he received detention as well.
As the years went by, his pranks against Potter grew with him. And finally, his sixth year he was given a task by Voldemort. An ultimatum really is what it was. Kill Dumbledore or your family is dead. He did well for the most part, but when it came time to actually do it, he couldn't. He didn't have the stomach to kill someone, especially when that someone had tried to give you a way out just hours earlier. This is the moment when Draco realized that being a Death Eater wasn't the glamorous life his father had made it out to be. It only made it worse when Draco found out that Voldemort was a half-blood.
At the final battle, Voldemort offered him a chance to stand with him, to be a Death Eater as they attacked the school, and at first he was pleased to have been called out, he chased after Potter when Harry was looking for a horcrux in the school, but as the Fiendfyre raged through the room and Crabbe fell to his death, Draco's mind spun out of control when Harry flew back through with Ron and saved him and Blaise from burning to a crisp. They had been on their way out, could of made it safely on their own, but Harry Potter turned back and saved his life, even though Draco had never done anything to deserve it.
His mother told him later, that she had lied to the Dark Lord, when he asked her to check and see if Harry was actually dead. Narcissa told Draco that she had asked Harry if Draco was safe and when Harry gave her a positive answer, she mustered her courage and lied outright to Voldemort. Draco knew he had to change something about himself. When a half-blood, a muggleborn, and a Weasley had the courage to stand up for everyone that Voldemort had been trying to kill off, something was wrong with the way he fit into the world.
He didn't go back to Hogwarts, he finished his studies by reading through the school books and taking the exams through the Ministry. He got married shortly after finishing his seventh year courses to Astoria Greengrass, the sister of his school-mate Daphne. He tried to make her happy, but everything that he had worked on to keep his reputation up in school, didn't hold any interest to him anymore.
They had a son and to stay true to his family tradition, they named him after a constellation - Scorpius. If it had been Draco alone, he would of chosen something a little less, weird, but Astoria had the final word and that was fine with him. In truth, he was absolutely terrified of having a child, afraid that he would be the same man his father was.
He left the raising of Scorpius to Astoria and the nanny they had hired. Living in Malfoy Manor it was easy to keep his distance from the little boy, making appearances at dinner, birthdays, and holidays. He was afraid of getting close to the boy, that he would do or say something that his father had said to him and that he would start molding the boy into another Death Eater and he didn't want that for his child.
So he poured himself into working with Potions. He could make most potions from memory and began to sell the harder ones to people he knew didn't have the brainpower to make them on their own, or the gold to buy them from a reputable store. Eventually he worked enough to get his Potions Mastery.
Describe your job duties and how you go about them: Mostly he works in the Potions lab he has at home, trying new things, attempting to make potions more effective.
Elaborate on your expertise in your field: He did very well in Potions at Hogwarts and decided to study on his own to become a Master at it.

Sum up your character in one paragraph: While Draco keeps mostly to himself, there are times when he wishes he had made completely different choices and had actually tried to make actual friends with Harry Potter. He leaves his home rarely by himself and leaves the raising of his son to his wife, his life isn't all diamonds and gems anymore, but at least he's still alive.
