Physical Description:
He's taller than most of his family - topping out at 6' 2" and weighing only 175 lbs.

Liam is a simple person, he doesn't care for fancy clothes or purely wizarding clothing either.  Sometimes he will wear a mix of the two, but mostly he just wears whatever he deems comfortable which in his case, is a pair of worn jeans with a rip in the right knee area and a long-sleeve shirt that he usually pushes the sleeves up to his elbows, and a pair of black boots that he's had for ages.

His brown hair is cut short, but not too short.  He likes to spike it up all over the place because he thinks it makes him look younger. His light blue eyes and tanned skin don't help with the younger look either. Sometimes people ask him if he's old enough to run his own shop, but he ignores them.

He has a few tattoos, but they are where no one can see them and most of them wouldn't make sense anyway.  They are just things that mean something to him and his family.  As for jewelry, he wears a silver and green ring on the middle finger of his right hand and a silver coated wolf fang in his left ear.

Personality Description:
Upon first meeting him, Liam has been described as quiet and broody, but he's really exactly the opposite.  When he was younger, he was full of energy and did his best to make people laugh, but now that he's older, the energy has dimmed and making people laugh is his last priority. 

He likes to keep to himself, not exactly hermit-like, but he doesn't talk much to people he doesn't know, that is.. outside of the shop.

He sort of has a split personality. 

When he's working he sits at the counter in the middle of the shop with his feet propped up on the surface and whatever book he's reading currently.  He will stop and help those who ask for it, will answer any question, and will be a smiling and gracious shop-owner.  But when the shop closes, he is a completely different person.  He only talks to his friends and to people he talks to when he orders a drink or food from a restaurant and frequently has a book in his back pocket for when he doesn't want to talk to anyone.

History:
Liam was born in a small town to a mother with two other children.  Being the youngest had it's advantages, but the little boy's interest was any book he could get his hands on.  When his older siblings came back from Hogwarts he would pester them until they gave in and let him read their school books.  This resulted in him knowing most of the 1st -3rd year information before he turned 11. 

At school he kept mostly to himself, but he did make a few friends.  He was a studious child with a knack for getting his homework done the day it was assigned, or the day after, and that alienated him somewhat from classmates in other houses, but being a Ravenclaw had it's perks.

Upon graduation he tried a few jobs here and there, starting out as a clerk at his mom's cafe in their hometown, to a completely spur of the moment hired sailor on a ship that he decided he wanted to give a try.  He finally decided to do what he loved best, read.  So he found a little shop in Diagon Alley that looked like it was a stopping place for things no one wanted anymore.  He convinced the owner to let him try something new and turned things around.

He kept the odds and ends that really had no place for them and set them in one part of the shop, while the books that were Liam's real purpose for coming here, got set up on the other side of the shop.  After a few years the elderly owner signed over the shop to Liam and he's been there ever since.

Describe your job duties and how you go about them:
Owning a little shop such as this doesn't require much.  He interacts with customers, answers questions, handles the purchases, and organizes the shop after it closes.  He does this six days a week, taking every Wednesday off.

The only real expertise he has is his love of books.

Sum up your character in one paragraph:
Liam is a collector of books and tends to keep to himself.  He can be convinced to come out once in a while, but it's very rare that he does so. He enjoys the quiet solitude of his little shop and prefers to stay there then to go out and interact with others, but he does sometimes, just to throw people off.
