In an attempt to minimize mass confusion and whatnot in Gracie's party, I'm going to start off (2) spin-off threads with Connor or Esther and Theo or Micah in the living room and the basement respectively.


Of course, this is not to limit, force, or regulate interaction with any of the given characters above in any way, but to organize everything by general location. So like any regular large thread, where one might have several things happening all at once, this would still be a given—only in more specific areas. All threads will be starting roughly the same time, so to keep any 'timebending' incidents at zero and events easy to track I ask that anyone who joins to please keep interactions with people in other threads at strictly observational, or leave their current thread with a hyperlink to their new thread in their exiting post.

And to keep open threads open and inclusive, I hereby grant blanket permission for anyone who would like to break away and continue things in a more private setting for this night only. Just give me a head's up as to where it'd be, or where you want it to be, since some areas are off-limits!

Other things to keep in mind:

          • Traveling, Flying, Apparition, etc.:  Do whatever you need to get here, but just know that direct Floo is not an
          option, as the Lodge is not a part of any Floo network (and if it was, it would be disabled for the party anyway). Flying
          and Apparition are probably the best course of action right now.
          • Arrivals by Broom:  Guests can leave their rides in the cupboard beneath the stairs, in the foyer.
          • Music/Dancing (living room):  The DJ is set up in front of the fireplace, so most of the dancing will be in the
          living room, and there are (4) small platforms set  up throughout the room, large enough for two or three people to dance
          on... very closely.
          • Food & Drink (dining room):  The dining table's been made into a buffet of snacks, candy, sandwiches and
          drinks.
          • Magical Restrictions:  Magic messes with electricity, so guests are asked to leave all spellcasting at the front door.
          Magical side-effects from food and substances, though, are a different story.
          • Paint Stations:  Self-serve. Pick up a brush and have fun!
          • Bartender (downstairs):  Zel's sister, Emeline Trumble.
          • Fireplace Decor (living room):  The mounted animal heads have been moved to the attic. By now, the walls are
          pretty much vandalized.
          • The First Floor:  St. John's Lodge was a lodge, so there are a lot of guest rooms.
