Elegant, intelligent, and very, very competent, Idara is respected senior curator of the Museum and official spokeswoman for the Veela Heritage Preservation Society, an organization dedicated to assisting pure and part-Veelas alike. She is also Theo and Maddie's mum, and Naila's sister. Through marriage she is connected to the Whitmans (and by extension, the Grummans).

Her job(s) have taken her all around the world, and her manner has made her many friends. But given her ruthlessness when it comes to artifact acquisitions and her own unabashed acceptance of what she is, it is very likely she has enemies, too. So with that said...

Edolie is also a curator at the museum and is also quite the traveler. I'm sure they'd get along!

Sounds like a high-level social/political connection Zephyr would be likely to have!  Perhaps, like Slughorn, she likes to gather around her a cadre of powerful and influential witches but in less of a Pokemon Gotta Catch'm All kind of way.



How do you see the Ministry's relationship with the Museum? How's Idara about politics?

We talked about this very briefly, but I feel like Idara and Josephine would most assuredly know one another. 

I think they'd have a relationship that'd be mutually beneficial:  Josephine knows curses and items, which would have a lot to do with the museum, and I'm sure there if Idara heard anything about certain items, she might pass the information along.  Additionally, depending on politics and feelings about Goblins... well. It could be interesting!

@Bri:  Yes! They can bond over work and traveling.

@Sarah:  In the very least, a cordial one! I think with the all the politics/issues surrounding Goblins and Goblin-made artifacts, I'm sure there's been some official~ disappointment over their lack of presence in the Museum, but otherwise I think it enjoys a very nice friendship with the Ministry. Idara, at least, wouldn't turn down a valuable connection to the Minister! (And perhaps offer an ear or her sympathies whenever Goblins prove particularly frustrating, should Persepolis desire.)

@Jess:  I agree! And waaant. In return for Jospehine's helpfulness, Idara would most assuredly see to it that she's properly compensated for her time~
