Physical Description:
Standing at 5 feet 8 inches tall, Illyria is taller than most of the women in her family.  She has reddish-brown hair that is usually down and wavy or curly, but sometimes she likes it straight.  Her soft brown eyes and her light complexion give an appearance of a sweet girl.

Illyria likes to wear light colors and usually jeans and t-shirts.  She has been known to walk out of her flat in a sundress or a skirt on occasion.  She prefers boots and sneakers to high-heels and sandals.  


Personality Description:
Illyria is a sweet person.  She talks to everyone, hardly has a bad word to say, and will help anyone who asks her politely.   She will though, keep her emotions bottled up when someone questions her beliefs and her attitude.  She doesn't like to get angry and tries to avoid any kind of confrontation if she can help it.

Bottling emotions has never been a good thing for Illyria.  She can only hold back so much before she will explode on the nearest person, but as she has been doing this most of her life, she can avoid making a scene in public and prefers to go home and indulge in a bowl or two of ice cream and some alcohol in order to calm the urge to 'maim' someone.

History:
Illyria was born to a young witch who was out one night at a pub and met a guy and took him home.  She didn't know his name, nor did she care to.  Two weeks later she realized she was pregnant.  Illyria's mother wasn't one that wanted children, so she made plans to find a family that would adopt her as she didn't want to terminate the pregnancy.  She had heard that it could cause health issues if not dealt with properly and it really wasn't the child's fault that she had a moment of weakness.

Her childhood friend and her husband had been told, after the birth of their son, that having anymore children would likely kill the mother and the child.  Illyria's mother told them of her predicament and they accepted, her friend always wanted a daughter.  The Blackwater's filed the paperwork and 8 months later had a beautiful baby girl.  Illyria's birth mother disappeared after that, not wanting anything to do with the baby.

Illyria grew up strong and healthy with a protective older brother.  Xander and Illyria were as close as you could be with siblings and it didn't even matter that Xander was without magic.  When Lyri first showed signs of accidental magic, her brother was the first to know and encouraged his 5 years younger sister to do her best in everything.

At Hogwarts, Lyri excelled in Transfiguration and Charms, preferring the lighter side to magic and doing okay in all her other classes, but nonetheless making her Hufflepuff classmates acknowledge her skills.  She graduated from Hogwarts near the middle of her class and moved back home to help her parents out.

At 20 years old she decided to travel for awhile but she didn't go very far, she liked her Ireland home and would of loved to stay there, but she grew bored and wanted something new, so at 27 she moved into London and was now currently looking for a job.

Unemployed at the moment.

Elaborate on your expertise in your field:
Well, she has decided to apply at some restaurants or pubs in and around London.  You don't really need much skill to work in a place like that, other than the ability to remember orders and where they came from.  At least, that's what Illyria thinks.

While a quiet, sweet-tempered girl, Illyria does have a temper although she doesn't like to show it in public.  She is easy to get along with and works well with others.
