Maddie is the darling younger sister of one Theo Whitman (yes, that one), and is fiercely devoted to her brother. She is quite idealistic and trusting, and loves to dote on people. Protective of those she cares about, and a bit of a daredevil, Maddie likes to surround herself with loved ones. She has Veela charm, and worries that many people are only nice to her because of that ability. She is a first year Gryffindor. Dear friends, acquaintances, even possible enemies are all welcome.

Well, I've got Wynter if she needs a friend, Imari wouldn't probably bother, she's trying to get back into things with the stuff that went on with her family, Sky is too much of a trickster to befriend anyone below her grade level, the other two, Asher and Shade could be counted on as question-answerers or anything a role model type person would do, although Shade has more of the Quidditch fever than Asher does.

Cadance is betrothed to Maddie's cousin Charlie and has known many of the Whitman's for years since the marriage was arranged. She often spends summers at a summer home Charlie's parents own which would likely be open to the rest of the larger Whitman clan as well.

Outwardly Cadance is sweet and proper, never speaks ill of anyone and does what's expected of her conforming the the traditions of many purebloods who have come before her (except for the whole outright muggle hatred) It's possible for Maddie to view Cadance as an older sister type and with having no sisters of her own Cadance might actually like having a little sister to dote upon.

Angel, Wynter could definitely be a good friend for Maddie, as they both love animals. Plus, it would be good for Maddie to have a girl friend her age. Most of the older students she interacts with are due to Theo's influence, but she and Shade might connect over Quidditch, since Maddie is very fond of the sport and flying in general.

Amberlee, I can see Maddie being fond of Cadance, and probably forcing her to have tea parties and such. While Maddie would enjoy being doted on, she has little love for her family outside of Theo, so would probably try to teach Cadance how to rebel a bit.
