After having been in this profession for so many years, Sera had quickly learned that she should either expect dark and ominous happenings, fate playing its cruel game on people or vile and positively obnoxious stupidity whenever going out in the field. Most of the time, much like today, it was the latter. When she'd arrived on scene she was greeted with the sight of a family of six all gathered up around a man of only 30 or so who was currently battling a dozen of slimy, hideous looking leafy vines which appeared to be attempting to choke the life out of him. Her confusion as to why someone from spell damage had been sent for was only momentary, as Sera soon realized said vines seemed to be growing out of the man's... Well. His back---side.

She had seen many a strange and awful things in her life but this topped pretty much everything. While the vines appeared to be part of the man, they certainly seemed to have a life of their own, she wasn't quite sure whether this would work... But she needed the whats and whys of the situation, so she cast a full body-bind on the man, in the hopes of--Yes, luck had been on her side this time, as both the man and the vines froze in a second. "My name is Sera Park, I'm a mediwitch with Mungo's. M'am can you tell me what exactly happened here?" she said, trying for her best professional voice, the horrified confusion still managing to tinge her voice, however. Faster that you could say hopscotch, the woman - his wife, Margery, apparently - and what looked like his children started talking over each other, gesticulating wildly and wailing.

Mr. Barnes, as she found out, had been attempting to decorate their garden when the vines started growing and the man started screaming and just like that they were battling for life. After getting the man's wand to identify which spell had managed to go so completely wrong, Sera was left completely baffled. "Right" she managed after a moment of silence. "Well, Mrs. Barnes, rest assured he'll be well-cared for at St. Mungo's" she said with a frown on her face as she leaned down to touch the man's shoulder, a grimace on her face as she made sure not to touch either of the vines. And they apparated into the hallway. From there she levitated the patient to the fourth floor, a look of doom and gloom on her face, because why was it that she always got the imbeciles?

"We've got a miscast, backfired decorating charm" she said, grimacing on the word. "Get me Flynn" she practically barked to one bewildered looking nurse. "And get me a free salon" she said to another, who quickly walked in front, leading them to one of the free rooms. Once inside, she moved his body over the hospital bed and let out a long put-out sigh, before retrieving the man's wand to inspect the last cast spell.
