In a spartan but stately ceremony, ground was broken on a new wing at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies & Injuries.  The new wing, funded entirely by Roland Dylanis, is dedicated to the treatment of those victimized by Dementors.

"It's called the Roland Dylanis Dementor wing," said a spokeswitch from St. Mungo's.  "We're grateful, as you'd imagine.  A bit noisy, the construction, but we need the extra beds more than ever."

Dylanis, an American, is most known for his contributions to the rebuilding effort after the Second War against Voldemort and the Death Eaters.  Estimates of his total worth are hard to come by and any attempts cause jaws to drop.

"Suffice it to say, he has means," said one such hypothetical accountant.

Dylanic himself spoke at the event:

"Today, wizarding Britain will bring itself into line with the rest of the world. I brought my grandson to the land of his birth to raise him away from the strife and turmoil of America, only to find that Britain is having problems of its own, even when united in the wake of the tragic Crisis that claimed my son's life. It has long been a subject of scorn amongst my former colleagues at the American Magical Government that the British Ministry used such vile, abhorrent creatures to guard its prison. If you ask me, I'd say these attacks are the Ministry reaping what they've sown in believing that the Dementors would always be loyal to them. If not for the heroism of Harry Potter, Voldemort's regime would have undoubtedly turned its attention to my homeland. I make this donation not out of charity to Zephyrs's administration, I make it so that this nation is that much safer for my family and my grandson's education."

The Minister of Magic's Office released a statement expressing its underwhelmed gratitude and appreciation for the constant, badgering involvement of community leaders.

Construction on the wing is set to finish at the end of the month.
