The Moste Importante Writings of a Fourth Task Champion

The script was hastily written, blotches of butterbeer spattered the surface of all three letters, and the penmanship was warbled. Nevertheless, the signature proved that all three were written by the hand of Fourth Task Champion: Elysia Hughes. Each letter was identical to the last, save the greeting – one for her sister Audrey, one for her brother Flynn, and one for her mother and father.

Flynn, Audrey, Mum & Da,

It happened! It finally happened, my name’s been chosen from the Goblet of Fire. I’m officially a champion in the TetraWizard Tournament. This is insane, and I’m still trying to take it all in. People keep thrusting butterbeer at me and congratulating me, so I’m going to go. Anyway, I really hope to see you at the task.

You’re coming, right?

It's about bloody time.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you! Are you sure that butterbeer is the only thing they're thrusting at you? At course I'll come to the task, I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll be sure to have enough coverage on my floor so that I can be there to see you complete the fourth task.

Dear Elysia,

Thank you for informing me of your role as a champion. You are a good student and a strong witch, I am certain you will do well. This is a large event for you, and I hope you kick everybody elses' asses. Not literally. Or literally, if they deserve  it or are standing in your way. You've earned this championship.

Be safe, have fun. I will see you at the fourth task. Hogwarts is not too far from my home.
