Physical Description: Camelia has brown skin, not black but a lighter color. She has dark, almost black eyes. Her hair is thick with tight springing curls which she keeps out of her face with a headband most of the time. Camelia is slender and a bit above average height. She is not very athletic, but neither is she out of shape. Camelia wears jeans and shorts most of the time, and colorful tank tops and t-shirts, often with Wizard bands on them.
Personality Description: Camelia is energetic, testy, and independent. She has a sharp tongue and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She isn't truly mean, but she often finds she has more spite in her than kindness. She can understand another's situation, but cannot neccesarily empathize with it.
One has to work hard to become friends with Camelia, as she only wants people who have proven themselves to be smart, intelligent, and capable. If someone does become friends with Camelia, they will find she can actually be quite protective, as well as having a dry sense of humor.
History: Camelia was born to Joan and Richard Lyons in London in August of 1993. Her mother was the Magical one in her family. Her mother had met Richard in South Africa on a digging trip to uncover an old tomb. The witch fell in love with the Muggle, and they eventually settled in London, England.
Camelia was the only child they had, and also the only one Joan was ever able to have, as a Dark Curse she was hit with prevented her from ever having more children.
Due to her Half-blood status, Camelia went to primary school as a child, as Richard wanted her to experience Muggle school as well as Wizarding school. That is until Camelia was bitten by a werewolf when she was eight years old. After this happened, Joan insisted her daughter was homeschooled until she was able to leave for Hogwarts.
Her parents insisted Camelia was registered with the Ministry as they feared Camelia would be persecuted and her parents charged if she was unregistered. Hogwarts was no better than anywhere else, as Camelia of course had to hide who she truly was. She was sorted into Gryffindor, however her fellow students always told her she should have been sorted into Slytherin. Camelia didn't care what they thought.
Overtime her secret weighed down on her more and more, and Camelia became obsessed with studying Defense Against the Dark Arts, where she could pour all her anger and unhappiness into. At the end of her 6th year now, Camelia yearns to be free of all the lies, but fears what could happen to her parents if her secret gets out.

How Do You Fit Into Your House?: Camelia was chosen as a Gryffindor because she is brave, and loyal. She might be selective in those who she is loyal to, but that does not make her loyalty any less meaningful. She does not back down in the face of danger, and especially stands up for those who like her, have had to hide who they are.
