Did you know that a group of frogs is an army and a group of toads is a knot? I did knot know that before. Get my joke? I can be funny. I know you like it when people are funny because you smile a lot and like to smile.Frogs can see up and down and side and side and they never close their eyes even when they sleep and their eyes are never tired and frogs also use their eyes to help swallow food and I wish I could use my eyes to swallow.

This letter arrives on May 9th, the letter comes in an oversized envelope that the tiny owl has difficulty carrying. There is a giant heart on the outside with a smily face in it.

Dear my beloved lily pad or should I say Lua pad!!!

I got stuck on a staircase today for two hours and it was awful because the picture of the knitting lady and ser cadagon came and called me a nave and used alot of big words and he was veryvery loud. I dont know why he was in the ladys portrait because Im sure his picture misses him. The lady was not happy and kept trying to hit him with her knitting needles and that was kinda funny I guess but not as funny as you. Now knitting lady keeps following me through other pictures and tells me that my ears are too big for my head and it makes her think of her grandson. How can a picture have a grandson?

I hope it’s ok that I figured out it was you who was sending the letters! I thought it might be easier to write back to you that way. I didn’t want the owl to get lost or end up in the wrong hands. They work very hard, you know? And you seemed to work very hard on the letters, too!

Which, by the way, are absolutely lovely!

They all made me smile. Figuring out who sent them was an adventure. (The frogs and your crossed out name eventually gave it away.) I think you might make a very good novelist one day. Just keep studying! And thank you so, so much for the sweets! My tongue looked like a Picasso painting, all swirls and very detailed, and it was delicious. Someone at dinner thought I was turning into a toad, which I thought you might like to know.

I have never been followed by a portrait, so you must be very lucky. I’ve talked to lots of them though, and they’re definitely a diverse bunch! There’s one on the third floor, a wizard with an eye patch who looks kind of like a pirate version of Batman if he worked at the Ministry, who knows a lot about muggle politics and Care of Magical Creatures. It’s amazing, how much traveling they do.

I am so glad you think I am nice. I think you’re a very sweet person and one day you will make a wonderful frog prince! I think we make great friends and I would love to keep being yours!

I just figured it out because you’re very good at leaving clues! It wasn’t Sir Cadogan, so please don’t chase his pony (I think it gets very tired after a while!).

If he’s mean and offensive you should chase him! Maybe he’ll learn to be nicer. He can be a little bit too aggressive. I think he just needs some breathing exercises in his life.

I will definitely bring you some chocolate frogs, then! Butterbeer to go with them?!

There isn’t a frogman, you would have to create him. Which I bet you could do! There is is a Spiderman! They’re not quite like aurors. Most of them don’t work with the government. But you could make an auror frogman who is extra wicked in the awesome way.
