Wand: Winona's wand is around 10 inches long, to show her medium sized personality and knowledge. It is made with a spiraled shaft and has a Veela hair core.
Physical Description: Just like her mother, Winny has long auburn colored locks. Waves of the brownish thick hair falls over her shoulders easily. Winona was graciously blessed with her father's sharp steel gray eyes, the tint of blue noticeable when she smiles. With a nice long button nose, her face is easy on the eyes. Maybe it was the half Veela in her. Her lips had the collagen some women craved, thick and full, naturally pink. She wasn't very tall, reaching just below 5"2. Her mother had kept her on a healthy diet for as long as she could remember. She had an athletic body, her long legs great for the running she loved to do. Her skin was a nice pale in the winter and a softly roasted tan in the summer.
Personality Description: Winona has always been the bookworm of the family. Her family has joked how she was born with her nose in a book. If anyone would describe Winny would be a headstrong, bookworm with no care for her background. While she was half Veela, that didn't matter much to her. Books replaced make up. Tutoring, spells, and charms took place of the sex appeal Veelas were supposed to have. Winny has a bad habit of OCD. She cannot stand dirt. Her long hair is constantly washed and she always has hand sanitizer on her. Despite it, she loves to work out. It was a good habit her mother instilled in her. Running and dancing made her feel as if there was no where she'd rather be. She has this way about her that just screams nerd and book smarts.
History: Pureblood Veela has been in the Watson family of generations. From as far as Winny could remember, every female in their family was pure Veela. But, her gorgeous mother had broken the chain and married a Wizard, not of Veela descent. It was a strain on their family history... In fact, it was more like a stain of such a white family tree. Her mother raised her strictly. From such a young age, Winona had been taught how to properly bathe in certain perfumes and how to do her hair in many attractive styles. She was taught how to keep her body in shape and how to eat healthy to keep her figure. Her mother showed her how to use makeup and how to carry herself. Being a Veela was a lot of family weight to bear and Winona hated it. She hated the attention called to her beauty and she hated the weight she had to bear. What Winona really loved was Charms and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Spells were her strong suit, not her looks. Book smarts and studying made her ecstatic and put her at ease. There was no doubt Hogwarts would send her a letter. When Winona received her letter at the age of eleven, her family was ecstatic to have another Watson attend Hogwarts. Her mother was happy she was such a bookworm, and yet, she felt like her daughter could spend more time on herself. Winona tried many times to explain to her mother how the Veela lifestyle wasn't for her... It was more a curse than anything. Winona couldn't get upset normally. Although she wouldn't have the full transformation of the bird face, her gray eyes would go silvery red, and she could shoot the traditional fire balls as everyone in her family could. But, she hated it. The beauty was a curse in her eyes... a curse more than a blessing.
Winona’s life at Hogwarts was easy going and she loved it. She did have trouble though. When she was in the middle of her first year, she had n incident in which an older boy was teasing her about her ‘nerdiness’. It was hard when she was younger to control the temper that ran in Veela blood. All Winny could really remember was the two weeks of detention for burning the poor kid’s leg with a weak fire ball. But, as she aged, her temper grew into her hands to be controlled. Not many people have seen her get angry, even her closest friends. Winona hoped that none of them would ever have to see that. . With her OCD, her dorm area was most certainly neat at all times. Winona’s mother had definitely instilled in her that clutter was a definite ‘no-go’.
As she got older, classes got harder and she took that as a challenge. She passed her O.W.L.’s proficiently and was ready to take on another year at Hogwarts. In class, Winona is the girl to be in the front, serious about her class work and whatnot. In the back of her mind, she knows it irks some other students at how she’s always answering questions and trying to get ahead, but she couldn’t help it. It came naturally to her to be the top in her class. In some ways, her competitive spirit brought her socializing down a couple notches. Her beauty brought friends and prospective relationships. Winona never really found herself looking for a relationship, but she was a good friend. But, with her competitive edge, there were also around the same amount of enemies around the corners as friends

Writing Sample: Boats. That was her one and only true fear as of right now. There was more Elsa had to fear, but any of those fears were the least of her worries as of right now. The captain called for the last of the supplies and for everyone else to board the vessel. The giant deep lavender and navy blue shipped bobbed about in the fjord, tied to the dock. Her pale hand rested on her chest, as if it would calm her breathing. Over to her left, her sister Anna was saying good-bye to Kristoff. It soothed Elsa knowing that Anna and Kristoff were taking it slow. She didn't want to have a repeat of the last year.
Arendelle was back to normal, thriving at it's peak of trade. Elsa has made many connections with neighboring countries and the country itself has been doing very well in it's profits. She only had one more stop to go and this one was much farther. China. The Asia's were far from Norway and the ship had quite a ways to go. Elsa's ice blue eyes watched the bobbing ship and all she could play over in her mind was her parents' ship going down. Swallowing, she shook her head. That was many years ago. Things have changed; boats were safer. White hair, thick and straight, was tired into a long braid over her shoulder. She preferred it over the traditional buns and whatnot. It was comfortable.. It was her personality. Her thin lips curved into a smile and she looked over at her sister kissing Kristoff good-bye. "Anna, it's time. Let's wrap it up! Let's go!" Her red-headed sister took her hand and they boarded the ship together.

Storm clouds loomed over the ship and Elsa knew her face read fear. Her hair was coming out of her usual braid. They were close to China, but the storm would deter them. The crew was going nuts on board, tying everything down. Anna was below, napping. There was no reason for her older sister to wake her and scare her. Elsa closed her eyes, trying to steady her breathing. Her dark blue dress whipped in the stormy winds and she finally felt somewhat level headed. Rain began to pelt her face, and she knew the storm would rage soon...

"Land!"
"Land! We've reached China! We've done it, lads!"
Elsa stirred awake in the hammock she shared with her sister. She was rather a light sleeper, unlike Anna who was a deep sleeper and rather a snorer. She gently got out of the hammock, getting dressed in a Queen like attire. Going up on deck in nothing but a nightgown was not proper. She brushed her fingers through her hair, knowing that it was going to be not the best looking until they've docked. She climbed the steps and the sun greeted her. It was warm, with a slight breeze. The storm was gone as fast as it started but it was nasty. Elsa thought she heard the Captain saying they may have been thrown somewhat off course, but she knew he gotten them back-- hopefully.
"Ah, Queen Elsa. We are docking now. We have definitely reached China, just a little off course." The Captain frowned some and shrugged. "We will have to continue the rest of the journey on land," he said.
Elsa smiled some and nodded. "It's fine, Captain. You did your best, and you got us to China," she said, nicely. She walked to the edge of the boat seeing the coast and the miles of green. It was good to see some tropical areas beside the little sun they got in Norway. Elsa smiled, seeing some people on the coast to see who's arrived.
"Arrived is the Royal Queen of Arendelle, Queen Elsa and her sister, the Royal Princess of Arendelle, Princess Anna."
Elsa turned around, seeing her sister bouncing up and down on her toes. Elsa chuckled and went to her.
"Behave," she muttered with a teasing tone. Her hands quickly did two braids in her sister's wild hair and she stepped back. "Let's get this Chinese show on the road." Elsa walked down the plank after her sister onto the small strip of sand before the green. More of the common people of China clapped confused, but were eager to see. Elsa waved slightly before. Her sister on the other hand, was waving wildly. "Anna," she said. Anna smiled and shrugged. "What? I can't help it!"
Elsa rolled her eyes and giggled. She walked onto the grass, watching as some crew members tried to get directions to the Emperor's palace.
Sum up your character in one paragraph:All around, Winona is the curious girl who gets herself into situations that are more enjoyable than regrettable. She’s the girl who aims to be called on in class, to have that rank of #1 in the class. With a deep, Pure family history she despises, Winona is the girl who had a lot of her family taught values programmed into her mind. She is the girl with the same amount of friends and enemies, and the girl with the OCD problem. Oh, and get her angry, I double dog dare you.
