"Ravello, it's along the coastline," Zia answered her dreamily, imagining how beautiful the weather probably was at the house. England and Scotland had their perks, yes -- but the climate in Italy was by far superior, in Zia's opinion. They were just different places.

Lua was right about the line for the fireplace -- luckily, their mansion had multiple fireplaces, so often it was alright. In a few of their old houses, though, or during big family events, it was mayhem. "One time my sister Caprina and I tried going together -- i was like 7, and it seemed like a good idea at the time... It wasn't," Zia laughed. They had ended up crashing on top of each other, covered in soot, squeezed into a tiny fireplace with no room.

This scarf was beginning to sound better and better, and Zia just hoped that she could fulfill these expectations. "I'll have to crochet a prototype," she decided. "I'm also going to have to get better at magically crocheting, it sounds like!" Zia smiled, excited for the challenge. As a Ravenclaw, she was already motivated and ambitious. Maybe her life did have some direction! She felt passionate about so many subjects... perhaps after Hogwarts, she could just open a Hoops and Loops store!

Before her imagination got too carried away, she was brought back to reality by a Teacup-sniff. Zia warily allowed it to happen. "Who's the writer? What happens to the sick eggs?" Zia was concerned. Members of her family were involved with dragon research and she hoped nothing was affecting them.

While they discussed Italy, their large families, and ways to improve their creative outlets, Lua pulled out a notebook and began to scrawl random reminders to herself. She explained that her pen pal, the brilliant CeeCee Donovan, was putting out a new book soon and that everyone was trying to raise money for a mystery disease that was harming the poor dragons. The sad interlude was matched by a happy return to the topic of their soon-to-be business.

“So we’ll meet soon, then?” She asked, as she stuffed things back into her backpack, gently avoiding the niffler. Her list of things to do that weren’t homework was suddenly much huger. Lua didn’t mind… there was always fun that didn’t involve sitting quietly and glancing over essays. (She never anguished over her proof-reading. She was a decent story-teller and so a decent writer, even if she could be a little too colorful or stray a bit in the middle of an assignment.)

“The world has been waiting for Hoop Loops,” she announced, chirpy, as she bounced back toward the castle, but in a different direction than her new friend. Charms and half-done bracelets jangled loudly and caught the sun from their knotted places on the bag.
