How Would You Feel About an AO Theme Song?

This is kind of a strange request, so please bear with me.  My brother is a musician and composer.  He's done everything from playing in live bands, to composing digital albums, to creating soundtracks for atmospheric video games.

I have been thinking of commissioning a song for Absit Omen.

• The song would be more of a soundtrack.  A looping, atmospheric 'mood music' that one might play in the background while writing at AO.
• It would be mellow but a little ominous.  A feeling of magic and mystery.

• Any AO member could use the track for AO-related fan creations. 
• The cost would be $150 a minute, and I think that a 1:30 loop would be just right.  So $225.
• Even if no one is interested in this, I would probably save up and do it for myself.  :D But someone suggested that I give others the opportunity to be involved too.
• This is not expected or required! If no one wished to support it, I'd still be happy to donate it to AO.

I'm gauging interest, so please let me know what you think.  Again - no pressure at all! We're all in different places and what's most important to me - and I'm sure you'd agree - is the friendship and creativity you all bring to AO.

What if, aside from the 'main theme', members with musical talent could help make a playlist for the site. Kinda like how we did the various themes?

That would always be welcome!  Any music player included on the site proper would be set to 'off' automatically, although we haven't yet considered that.  The great thing about a theme of our own would be that we'd have rights and could play it without worrying about copyright infringement.

Anyone who has an AO playlist should be welcome to put it in our Creative board in the OCC section!  If anyone ever wanted to write music for Absit Omen, I'd probably die of excitement.  I hope they'd share!
