As we enter the final term for this Hogwarts academic year, we are nearing the end of the Tetra-wizard Tournament, and soon our foreign guests will depart.

Back in August 2009 the other schools arrived, and in early September the Goblet of Fire was opened to begin the tournament.

In September we had the first task with acromantulas.

In November the second task saw the champions navigate the Chamber of Secrets.

In January the third task was to catch a golden snidget.

It is now several months since the third task, and speculation is rife as to whether there will be a fourth task. Traditionally a tri-wizard tournament has been three tasks, but with the addition of the fourth school this year…

Are the results of this poll blind or is that a glitch?

As someone who has been involved with Tournament planning for past Tasks, I wanted to expound upon my vote of 'yes to Fourth Task:'

It would streamline much of the Task planning, anticipation and enjoyment for everyone involved to have widespread input in constructing a Task, especially from the authors with candidates for Champions. I think the anticipation coupled with the uncertainty from past tournament events has a hand with TWT plots and characters never finding their true niche on the site.

Yes, the results are not public until close to allow them to be a truer reflection.

Overall a wish to have a 4th task, even if wish to involve wasn't quite so high!
