When Zia woke up the morning of March 20, she knew that it was going to be a great day. Instead of lounging in bed like she normally did, Zia woke right up and began plotting out her day. It felt like months since she had last spent time outdoors, and for that reason, Zia wanted to dress the part. Instead of choosing several layers and bundling up like she had been for the past several months, Zia decided it had to be warm enough by now to wear a dress. She was tired of all the sweaters and socks.

After a few minutes of contemplation, Zia finally landed on an outfit. She chose a bright blue, velvet dress with a swirly design. It was long-sleeved, so Zia figured that if it was cold, she was at least wearing long sleeves in addition to her tights. Shoes were a more difficult task, and after trying to decide between a pair of black boots and a pair of black heels, she tossed both aside and took out her brightest, most colorful pair of wedges. Her sister Alessa had gotten them for her as a gag gift, but Zia actually liked the shoes. What was wrong with patterns and bows?

On her way out of the dormitory, Zia grabbed a purse and after taking a few steps out of the dorm, decided it would be smart to grab a scarf as well. She wrapped it around her neck a few times as she confidently walked toward the meeting place, rainbow high-heeled shoes and all. She excitedly talked to her fellow Ravenclaws as they traveled to Hogsmeade, where she had no deliberate plans whatsoever. She was looking forward to spending the day outdoors, breathing fresh air. As they approached Hogsmeade, Zia slipped on her purple sunglasses and prepared for an eventful day.
