Breakfast in the Great Hall

Figaro wasn't always up in time for breakfast, and today was no different.  He was up and about for a healthy serving of Raine Almasy who'd be coming up into the Entrance Hall shortly if she was the creature of habit he knew her to be.  The Hufflepuff sixth year leaned in the doorway of the Great Hall watching the front doors and staircase; he wasn't sure if she'd come in directly out of the cold or trot down from Gryffindor after having a change.

However, he needed to catch her.  Raine had always been different.  She fit in completely, had plenty of friends, did fine in school.  She laughed and joked with her mates, she stressed over homework, like any body else.  But there was always something just a bit different about her.  She was...intense or something.  Her life seemed more important somehow.  Her strong personality, her cool aloofness had always been a pull to Figaro who had always had the good sense to let her be.   But since being co-Champions in the second Tournament task, some of the mystery had been shed.  At least he was beyond the velvet rope now.

He'd heard it a few times lately, that Raine was going to leave Hogwarts.  He had to find out if it was true.  And then tell everyone.

"Raine. Raine!"  He called to her as soon as he spotted her.
