To say that
Sophia Knight was frustrated would have been an understatement. She was so livid that she was certain she would explode.
Nothing could make this any better, nothing! And if she didn't get a good mark in Defense class then she would have her father remove Storm from his office--and would throw a tantrum until that happened. She just didn't understand! She did everything right in that class, tried her hardest, and even spoke up more than almost everyone. Why was it she couldn't get a perfect mark?
With her wand in her hand she took turns between spells to try and knock back a few of the chairs. In Charms class she could do this, at least the next closest--but it was the Jinx that she just couldn't get. Why in the world could she do it to a chair just fine, but not one of the other students. Sophia had required some help, and the poor boy with his chickenpox scars shivered in his stance.
"Just stand there Wesley, this really won't hurt. It's good practice for your cushioning charm," She told the freckled face Hufflepuff (who would probably end up flipping burgess later in life, she was just sure of it..so really she was doing him a favor. Honestly.)
Besides, when was it he would ever get the chance to spend time with a regal, elegant, worldly, sophisticated, pretty, smart, funny….girl like herself anyway? Sophia smirked to herself and tapped her wand over her palm before raising it to point at the poor Hufflepuff boy.
"Flipendo!" She called with every fiber in her being, practically WILLING freckle face to fly back, every hair on her head was tense with her concentration, but when she looked down the end of her wand Wesley was still there shivering and she kicked the chair next to her with her fists at her side.
"Arrrgh! Why did you not fly backwards!?" Casting the charm to send an object flying the chair stumbled back, but why did it not happen to a student!? SOPHIA SMASH! And Wesley who was still shivering made a little squeaking sound and scurried for the door nearly knocking over the other figure on his way out.
