Introducing Thread Roulette on January 05, 2014, 10:22:04 PM Thread RouletteA new writing challenge designed to help find new writing buddiesWhat is it?Thread Roulette is a challenge in which members are paired together to write a thread based off a random scenario. Pairing is not random, but based off certain key factors:Members that have never written togetherCharacters that have never interacted In CharacterEveryone elseHow Does It Work?Members are given two weeks to sign up. There are two categories: Hogwarts and The Wizarding World. Members are allowed to sign one (1) character up in each category, but aren’t required to. At the end of the two week period, we pair off the characters and PM each pair with a writing scenario. From that point, the members have until the end of the current timeline to complete their threads. The Rules:Members can only sign up with one (1) character per categoryThreads must be completed by the end of the current timelineOnce the thread is complete, PM Michael with a link to the completed threadSuggestions:Following the writing scenario isn’t required but is strongly suggested. After all, part of the point is to put characters in situations they may not find themselves in normally.
