London Underground

Lexus weaved through the Muggle Underground, having been in London for a year and a half now she was getting much more accustomed to the trip. She already had experience with subway stations given her time living in Toronto but now she knew the train routes and how to get to most places within the city. Travelling the Underground was tedious and time consuming but it felt better than trying to Apparate or using the Floo Network. She wasn't sure if it was being muggleborn, or the bit of magical resistance her Lycanthropy afforded her but she seemed to always have trouble with magical transportation. Besides the Muggles didn't really pay much attention to her. She could walk around all wolfed out with her silver hair, glowing eyes, blood red lips and a fang filled grin and no one really looked twice at her. If she had done something like that in the Wizarding World people would cross the street so as not to pass her. Be that as it may she still preferred to keep a low profile. She used Muggle dye to dye her hair every few days (colour change charms only ever seemed to last a few hours) some cream coloured lipstick brought down the colour of her lips, she used coloured contacts to take glow out of her eyes and she had gotten rather used to painting her talon like nails. She easily passed for a regular Londoner these days without the use of Polyjuice.
She had a shoulder bag and was carrying a small plastic shopping bag with her. Nothing too extravagant, a few more boxes of hair dye, a new shade of lipstick, some barbeque flavoured crisps (she always got snacky when she shopped) and a top she couldn't resist buying. The shoulder bag held the more unusual items - a few rare steaks, potion ingredients she had gotten from an out of town contact and the latest list of potions she was being contracted to brew by Almasy.
Lexus paused by a street performer that was playing an acoustic version of American Woman by the Guess Who. Lexus couldn't help but smirk at the old Canadian Classic. Her dad used to listen to the song on vinyl when she was a little girl. She had to admit the song sounded even better with a Londoner's accent, the kind she often adopted to keep her own low profile. Most people assumed she was American due to her accent, she supposed she couldn't blame them, there was nothing that really stood out about a Southern Ontarian Accent, it really was rather generic. She tossed a few coins into the open guitar case and moved on, a small thought crossing her mind as to whether or not she had thrown in a pence or a knut with the change.
She neared her train and a few college kids rushed past her. It was obvious just from their swagger and increased volume that they had started their Friday night festivities early (not to mention the stench of booze wafting off them) The sudden push knocked her slightly off balance, "oi!" She yelled out to the bunch but was sure it had fallen on drunken ears. The bad news was it was enough to knock her off balance, the good news was she was close enough to a bench to fall onto that instead. Unfortunately the bench seemed to be preoccupied and with a strong sense of deja vu, she found herself sitting in a stranger's lap, "Watch where yer going next time, you bloody idjits!"
She sighed and shook her head before turning back to the stranger whose lap she was currently occupying. Lexus found herself face to face with a charming looking red head who seemed to be more concerned with her well being than the fact that she had fallen on top of him. She had initially given him a wide smile that soon faultered when she discovered he wasn't whom she thought he was. She supposed the fates didn't like her that much.
"All right then?" The stranger asked.
"Yeah I'm fine, so sorry about that. College kids, amiright?" She lifted herself out of his lap and went to apologize again when a familiar voice from behind stopped her with her mouth open, "Jonas?" She whispered to herself, perhaps the fates did still like her after all.
