Care of Magical Creatures: Rules, Syllabus & Schedule on December 30, 2013, 07:52:23 AM Care of Magical CreaturesUNDER PROFESSOR DONOVANClass Protocol & Code of ConductCare of Magical Creatures (CoMC) is a third year elective course designed to teach students about magical creatures and how to interact with them on a competent level. Here, they will be taught how to identify, handle, and understand their basic behavior, as well as their history as a species, and with other humans. Rules are made to protect everyones safety; those who disregard them may endanger not just themselves, but everyone else as well, so please follow them! Disobedience may result in point deduction, detention, and/or suspension.1. Be punctual. All students are expected to come to class on time. Passes are granted only to those with a viable excuse. (or an impressive fib) If you know youll be late or absent (such as in the case of field trips), send word ahead of time.2. Be prepared. Always bring your book, gear and writing materials with you until further notice. You may share a book and writing materials with their owners permission, but those who forget their gear must sit the class out and get a ุ for the day.3. Behave. All students are expected to behave with a certain amount of maturity. Listen to your classmates. Treat everyone (especially me) with patience and respect, and we will return the favor. (Or else.) Mistreatment of the subjects will earn you a ุ and a detention.4. Do the work. All students are required to provide a sufficient amount of notes and 1 or 2 questions for the next class to contribute to the discussion, and turn in a concise summary of the days lesson that theyve understood it in some way. Mere descriptions will be graded with extreme prejudice.Good luck!
