Originally a Muggleborn, she fell in love and married her longtime crush, pureblood wizard Tarron Knight. Although their love was strong, they still had to fight their way through plenty of opposition, as Tarron's purist family disowned him for his marriage. Aisling got the worst of things during the war, when despite her very young daughters she was captured and thrown into Azkaban. Her Occlumency helped her survive her captivity, but even today as the Head of the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee, she still suffers from her memories of that dark time.Aisling is brought to life by writer Socks, who skillfully captures all of the nuances of a character with such a long history. When Aisling discovers she is pregnant once again -- and with triplets, no less! -- it forces her to deal with her memories of the past. She shares her news, but she must also deal with the shadows of what came before.
